with that amount of work I'm surprised you didn't use ball screws... Great job.

You did a great job on this, I entend to do something very similar with my 3018. My goal is to wind up with a 5050. Great job.

    Hello
Would it be possible for you to give us the plans and the necessary list of parts to buy in order to be able to manufacture the same machine.
PS: you did a great job to make this machine.
    Best regards

Nice video. Very cool to see custom parts. I think you might need a dust collection system though. Seeing chips all over your rails and screw was making my eye twitch. lol

looks like a good upgrade, may I suggest you use less stickout on the end mills, it will make things more accurate and also cut down on a lot of vibration you are having. I have the genmitsu 3020 with linear rails all standard so far, looking to upgrade the motor to 500 or 800w brushless soon, More detail on your upgrades would help both for people wanting to upgrade and also attract subscribers as they would come away with some useful information very lacking at the moment. Good usefull information attracts subscribers. If I learn something while here its worth subscribing for more, as is I learnt very little, sorry, hope you take this as usefull criticism.

I just purchased a 2023 (3018), the Mostics 3018, full aluminium, the vibration comes down to the hollow aluminium & the stock bars for the gangtree that hold the spindle assembly in place & a cheap motor to get you going. I cured alot of the vibration by turning all the bolt holes into tread locked studs, so I can double nut holding it all together without stripping the aluminium threads. As for a 52mm motor you can now but one with for a 3018 which is identical & just has the 52mm motor mount, the stock cap bolts are not supplied with washers or anit-shake washers, perhaps they should but Allen key bolts are over-rated & tend to strip for the tightnesds you need to stoip them coming undone without anything to lock them in place! All the rails are linear, just a different shape & tensile strength - there is hardly any play in my CNC & makes accurate PCB's after my mods have been applied.

What would be very useful, provide your cut files for the upgrade, a list of parts, even amazon affiliate links ( could make a bit of money from them)

A little bit of detail would be helpful. You did two parts where holes need to be aligned so you don't have binding or out of square or a mix. Those are the things that somebody doing this would need.

Can you provide the files for the pieces you made and also a parts list. Thank you for a great upgrade idea.

I think I would have left the bit of aluminium that you cut off round the bed, as it did not interfere with the movement it would always give extra size for clamping etc.

aliexpress, you can order to length and size, same as most any cnc upgrade item or even replacement for broken parts. FYI writing in All capitals is classed as shouting in chats/messages and frowned upon.
