My personal belief is that he who loves you will never ever ever leave you. So, once they've left, it means that they will be ready to leave you again and again. Once they've decided to get out of your life, you should never ever let them back. Once the door is closed, it shouldn't be re-opened for them. You've got to teach them and yourself a lesson. If it were meant to be, you would still be together. You're valuable and they don't see you as you are. They don't realize your worth and appreciate what they have. So, let them go. They aren't in love with you.

for me, it really depends on how they act after the breakup. if they remain single, work on themselves for real like a mature adult then i will have respect for them, and i will definitely try to fix the relationship/ get them back when the time comes and the opportunity presents itself. BUT if they immediately rush into new relationships, rebound quickly so that they can replace you, then this person is definitely NOT worth any ounce of your attention anymore. letting them go is the best thing you could do!

After a couple of back and forth my ex finally told me that move on and find someone else that will love me back and i told her a agreed with and wished her luck. Been in no contact ever since and been told by mutual friends how she's been struggling but hey it was her choice. Gotta stay strong out there everyone.

Ultimately, that is the decision you alone have to decide. However, for your self value, self worth, and self respect there is no coming back from that. If you alow that you have opened that door and it will happen again, and it will be even harder and longer for you to get over..

I am in a weird place. My ex and I work together a couple days a week & we are able to keep it casual, but it hurts to see her sometimes because she is very good at leaving her emotions/feelings at the door. She looks & seems happy & it’s taking a toll on me. Outside of work I’ve been in no contact, focusing on myself & hoping she reaches out at some point. The separation & depression is slowly eating away at me.

I'm in the similar situation. I have dated my ex for around 6 months. We met at the gym and we still go to same gym. It's been 4-5 months since breakup. She did breadcrumbs in between I fell for them showed her I'm really interested in her. Now back to no contact again. But confused if I shall go at different time. So I will not see her or go at same time and just be indifferent.
I'm in a similar situation as well. I work with my ex and see her five days a week and it does hurt every day. The best I can do is just try and get through the day without spiraling or trying to pay too much attention to her. I'd suggest doing the same. And whether you want to get back together with your ex (like myself) or not, keep going and building yourself back up. Maybe telling someone else and helping them out will help me get back in gear myself lol. But seriously, stay strong.
I totally understand it's hard to stay in control especially when she comes and start talking to you or ask you to see if she's doing her exercise correctly or ask for help with her sets in between. She even suggested to go and try out different gym together but which never happened. She bailed out at last minute. @@brendonmccluskey665

This is exactly what im going through she left me in October 2023 i was hurt so jumped on dating sites had alot of flings she came bk got pissed of so i chased again now may 2024 shes found a rebound and im seeing a good female mate but also just focusing on myself and becoming the best version i can for myself . i do love her we were together 7 yrs 3 kids but i know my worth nd unfortunately for her she will realise the grass isnt much greener. I took her out on dates, i was the only one who brought her presents on her birthday 1 year, she got flowers every anniversary or valentines dayy was a great day out with love laughter and joy .. but time for me to live my best life . Thats why it is so hard for me to let her go because i do know she will come back 1 day but by then i would have definitely moved on
I definitely appreciate this videos and others you have posted. I found myself trying to reach out and fix the relationship for 5 months with no results. I went on no contact beginning of this month and love the confidence I built. I noticed that they watch all my post even notifying me when I have mail at there place. My ex was very emboldened at the end. Going as far to say there going to see other people and that I’ll always come back. I know that we’ve had our ups and downs. Why should i tolerate being cheated on more than once and then watch him have a rebound with the one he emotionally cheated on me with which i know has happened? I told him, once he does that, he ain't be coming back to me because i will class him as contaminated and tarnished goods. I shouldn't be the one to bare the brunt of all the damage, abandonment, betrayl, trauma and then try and forgive him AGAIN. This time there is no coming back from it as much as i love him and want him back. I can't get past it this time.
Was with my wife 14 years married for 11 and have 3 kids. One day she tells me she loves me but doesn't love me anymore. A part of me wants him to regret. Everything but he wasn’t good. So why should i even care.
Not accepting them back overall contributes to a breakdown in soceity. If there is no value for those who seek reconciliation then where is the forgiveness. Lots of unhappy people walking around.
Now flipside why do i need to accept you once i built myself up? Key words built myself up. Meaning you are now the better version of you. Thus what has re-attracted her was either forgotten or what was never there to begin with but now is. self respect is key here.
The biggest question is do you take them back. They must have proven to you that they themselves have grown otherwise it may not pair well.
If they have been through shitty relationships during your separation, then for sure they will be bringing baggage.
Worst if you have kids together.

My ex finally ended things with me for a “friend” from work also. I caught him other wise I would have never known. I had a feeling he was in over his head with someone but of course he denyed it. In a rebound happier than ever she was with me. She doesnt just show that she is happy. She actually is. At least for now. I think she entered rebound after 5 or 6 months of the break up. I know she slept with more between those months. I know its still early to determine if its gonna turn into a relationship. For now this situantioship makes her happy and thats what i want her to be. Happy. Broke up in december. Nc since March 6th. I wished her HB and asked her not to reply back. Never did. Never will. She is strong and will move on. I wish the next guy wont make the same mistakes. I hope she stays safe.

I walked away from my girlfriend of a year because she'd cheated on me (right at the beginning....and told me about it 5 months later), and I'd stayed with her. We lived together. We did drugs every day together. I left to get myself well, get off drugs (71 days clean now), and reshape my whole way of being. I still love her and want to be with her, but we'll see. We'll see if when I move back to that city, where I'm at and where she's at. I'm not certain that she would take me back and I'm not certain that I want her back; I just know that at no point since I left her more than two months ago, that I've felt anything but love for her (and learning how to put myself first, too). I'm not rebounding, I'm not interested, I haven't had a hook up or a date or anything since I left. It was brutal to have to leave but it was truly the only way I could grow, and if she doesn't, it's a shame.
It’s been 3 months of no contact with her, she even asked me NOT to go no contact bc she knew I believed in the rule before we broke up. I told her I have self respect. I’m a lot more over her now, I just hope one day I get to sit down with her and talk.

I messaged her on day 10-12 after the breakup telling her that she broke me and that I changed then I asked her how long the disconnect is for. I also stated "Alright this is my last message for a while" (obv implying there will be more). In the message I told her that her grief was most likely the reason for the breakup. She never replied. So I deleted her a few days ago from everything. It's now day 24 and I've stopped caring to a large respect, and haven't contacted her since and I will not. it’s not your fault. If she decided to see someone else only after three days, it may be that she already was seeing this person before, or they are trying to make you jealous, but if you focus on yourself and you know your worth, if they still love you they’ll just hurt themselves, and if they don’t love you anymore, be glad it’s over! Stay strong, go no contact and focus on yourself. If she’s the one she will regret it she’ll come back to you, and if not, you dodged a bullet! You’ll be okay either way. And if she ever comes back don’t accept her right away even if you want to, make her beg you 💪

In that situation you need to cut contact entirely. Tell her there's no point of staying in touch. That's the only way you can push her to decide, by feeling the loss.
We have three kids, so I really have no way of cutting off contact completely but I only respond to important texts and I never reach out but there is no way I can truly go no contact with the kids involved

I feel so stupid...i was so in shock after my ex left me for the women he was emotionally cheating with that i did alot of stupid stuff. I startet having a wh#re phase and had sex after a month him not coming back cause i did not want to feel lonely and ugly...i have low selfestem. After a while he told me he would not come back cause i was with others but thats so unfair...he was the one leaving me for a women. I was always faithfull! How could i know that he dont want to have sex with her cause he is not sure about her...he told me way to late...😢
At first I didn't give the space she asked for. I begged and acted the wrong way when she asked for space. It took me a long time to give here the space and distance. Now she wants a break up. We have been on no contact but keeps on breaking NC. She will be working in another country but she wants me to take care of her dog and still hasn't said a word about our things in their house and also in my house. Any advice?

we broke up 3 months ago after a 2 year relationship. She started seeing someone less than 2 months after the breakup. She was following me on every social media up until about 2 weeks ago when she randomly unfollowed me, so i ask if it was someone else? She didn't deny it, but talked around it and said it was because she didn't want to see me doing better, making change, and doing things that she like because it upset her I changed after the breakup. any advice??

Two year relationship is an interesting grey area where it can be labeled as a long or short term relationship. There are people that can move on quickly from this but there are others that might be stuck with feelings for their former partner. In general, you should focus on yourself and move on. They don't deserve to know what you're doing in life, so them unfollowing you is an advantage to you.

Hi Coach, I have dated my ex for 6 months. We met at the gym and it was good for 4 months but I can now go back and see I was more into her. She had low interest. Her pet was sick and I have helped her so much during that time and her pet died in March. In april, she said she's grieving so can't give me what I'm looking for. It's been 4-5 months since breakup. We still see each other at the gym. She gave me breadcrumbs as well in between when I gave her space and no contact. As we see each other at the gym, we start talking and have small chats here and there. Few weeks ago, I asked here like where do we stand and she said we are just friends. I said no to friends and she keeps saying she can't say no for future. In future it will maybe workout. But I'm doubting that she's maybe with someone else at this stage. What is the best way for me to do no contact? Shall I start going to gym at different time or go at same time but just say hello and do my workout? Please advise me coach on this
Choose a different time to work out. That way you want see her & will become stronger in no contact

Bigloco, I think she is stringing you along for validating n, and attention only. Plus, she plainly said friends only. If your instincts tell you she is seeing someone else, then she is. You know her well enough from y'all's past to know that. It appears the best thing for you to look out after yourself, and get her out of your life, and mind is to avoid her at the gym, and stay no contact. I should listen to my own advice, grin. Stay strong, and keep your training, and nutrition up.
I must be different because I will take that oxygen tank I might need it and take it as a sign.
Hi Coach, thank you for this amazing video. Please respond. My ex broke up with me around 7 weeks ago while were in long distance ( we had done long distance before, so it wasn't the first time.) We were together for 2 years and were living together the whole time apart from the summer breaks. I begged and pleaded for 2 days after the breakup and went no contact. The day I got back in town which was 2 weeks ago, my ex randomly called me up to meet. We met, and she asked me how I was and if I was dating anyone else or hooking up. I said no, I am just focusing on myself and not looking for a rebound. She then told me that she started seeing some guy from work ( she broke up with me after a few days of getting this new job where she made new friends and likely got influenced) 2 weeks after the breakup, so its likely a rebound. I also think that she was trying to make me jealous but I didn't read too much into it and acted casual. She also told me that they were facing problems because they are now in long distance. She has also started smoking and drinking a lot. She said that she wanted to meet to make sure that we are cool and we can hangout as we have the same friend group. After the meet she asked me to come hangout with her and some mutual friends, I said that I was busy. She hasn't reached out since. She is also stealing our mututal friends away and we live in the same building so we cross paths at times, at first I used to wave and smile, now I just dont look at her and walk past. She seems very happy and unbothered, although she could just be pretending. What should I do?
