Love listening to John speak & sing. He was brilliant in doing both of those!
I missed most of his music as a teenager. Heard him mostly in grocery stores, etc, as we didn't have a radio at home.
Then my father passed when I was in 6th grade, mother remarried about 2 years later. Stepfather in military, so off to Germany soon after, where we had no tv or radio. So now playing catchup of John's music, interviews, & tv shows that I missed out on.
Thanks, John, for sharing your life, gifts, songs, soul, & spirit with all of us. 😊😘👩‍👧‍👦👍❤🌳🌵🛫⛵🌞🎶🎸

Not a day goes by I don’t miss him. I’m going to the 25th anniversary of his passing in Aspen this year. To be around so many other people who love him still will be a great way to celebrate his life. Bitter sweet, though. Each new video brightens my heart a little more. Thanks.

A complicated, yet simple man. He cared deeply about many things and his music always let us know that. I listen. Still.

Fan from his first LP. Also the first concert I ever went to. Only band other than the Carpenters my mother did not say was horrible. But his honesty and intelligence and talent and his love of the universe. I love that he did not care if people liked him for his visions of what the world could be. He was a humanitarian. He never stopped growing. Or teaching.

I never knew until the last few weeks about John Denver’s connection to the space program.
The morning the Challenger exploded, we watched the whole catastrophe from a lounge. The loss of the Challenger and all included was such a tragedy.
The loss of John Denver was also a tragedy. How much he is missed is incalculable.

When I,m feeling down I open my laptop and see John Denver singing meaningful songs about life like Calypso, or tragedies like Flying for me, his music gives me hope for the future. May god bless this man of many talents.

Incredible feelings and words JD could express. Like no other I have found, he speaks from the heart, with such clarity and beauty.
    Just indescribably touching. 🥰

If he was alive today, he wouldn’t believe what was happening today. John was a conflicted man in many ways. Lots on his plate, picking up a mantle he really didn’t want necessarily. He took his responsibility toward his causes so seriously, it led to his substance abuse, imho. And, I do believe, like many creative people, John suffered from bipolar disorder. His highs and lows are in his songs everywhere. RIP JD. The world misses you.

Thank you for these! Also, I remember a couple of days after John’s death watching his Memorial Service which was held at his mother’s church in Denver. I can’t remember who aired it, it was a cable news channel - CNBC perhaps. But they broadcast all 2-plus hours of it. I can’t find it anywhere. A brief clip is on CZcams. Is the full length version something you could track down?

I wonder if that interview was done before or after a concert, because it looks like John has eye makeup on which is a little strange. I hadn't ever seen him with obvious stage makeup on for a concert. Maybe it's the lighting? In any case, it's nice to see things from and about him I haven't previously seen, so thank you.

I think it is safe to say now that he would be very disappointed in the narrative now being pushed that AI is necessary for agriculture in the world, another bandaid to slap on the root issues of sustainable ag while further removing the small family farmer from the equation...
