As an American, I find the aggressive nature the parties breed towards eachother to be toxic and counter productive. We won't accomplish anything by fighting eachother, which is likely the point.

It's been said in a number of gyle casts: the first thing you should build after finishing the paragon is another paragon. Always have 2 or 3 of them online so your economy doesn't collapse after losing one.
@@Moukula that's easy to say for armchair generals. In reality while you're sinking the bulk of your economy into the 1st paragon, your opponents are bringing huge pressure upon you and your defenses are struggling to hold. As soon as the para finishes your first priority is to mount an effective response to alleviate the pressure, not another paragon.
If you have the time to build a 2nd paragon because your opponent aren't pressuring you hard enough, it mean you've already won with the 1st.

There is no map yet that supports a 10 v10....yet.... If you're in the community, get on the map creator and give it a shot. There's videos online on how to do it but it's tough at first. I'm trying to make the old school Total Annihilation maps...that is a struggle lol

At this point I am starting to think that Gyle is actually just a time traveler from the future, trying to warn us about to comming WW3 of 2046 - but he cannot out right tell us that this is going to happen or he will break the timeline and make the universe collapse in on itself. So instead, he has the make these casts about futuristic machinese blowing each other up as a not-so-subtile way of saying "Guys, look! This is the future! Please, understand me, PLEASE UNDERSTAND!!"
I like the idea of center powered shields. They should still be able to overload an individual shield like a circuit breaker, and the commander needs to reset the shields to re-activate. Would make shield micro interesting-ish.

And I don't see any evidence of cheating, that would have been flagged by the game. Treated unfairly? Nah there was a professional lack of cybran bashing in this prediction cast.

I think the idea of the shields being centrally powered is interesting, but I think it would be really tough to balance, since people frequently have thousands of excess energy generation in the late game which would make bases extremely hard to crack.

@@CunkGungler thank you. Indeed. As an American it's a bit galling to see my fellow countrymen balking at what they call capitalism. What they're REALLY mad about is corporatism. It's certainly apart of capitalism but, so is the free market. Corporations tend to be very much in opposition of a free market.
@@tarrker doesn't a free market invariably lead to a monopoly? At least if by free you mean without regulation. Regulation preventing consolidation and entry barriers means competition and creation of new companies. The regulation were getting seem to protect established corporations rather than to protect the market and the consumers.
@@adamkingcha I'm using rather vague terms. I'm not super versed on economics personally but, I certainly know the big terms. Usually when people talk about "the free market" they mean a market that is only marginally regulated.
@@tarrker Likely you're also not necessarily pro-capitalism, just pro-market economics. Capitalism really is just the amassing of capital, hence the name. The idea that it is an opposite to communism is also a false dilemma.
I'm surprised early voting went to trump. Space force being in the hands of the Dems was also unexpected.
Early voting has historically nearly always leaned toward the Republicans. The key factor is that most of Democratic votes come from densely populated cities where it takes far longer to count the votes, whilst Republicans lead in smaller and rural populations, which get counted through faster. Different state laws on when the totalled votes are declared also factor in, with many entire cities not getting added to the total until some time after the day itself.
Trumps campaign is of course aware of this, and counting on peoples ignorance of this, in order to try and accuse the election of being fraudulent. "I was in the lead at first but then they added more votes, _clearly_ they're cheating." It's pretty insulting honestly, but countless people have already bought into the ruse.
