HAL9000 is MVP for sure. Achievements: killing 3 out of 4 enemy team, taking top pond, crippling air player with Rambo drop, killing mavor with nukes, clearing middle land route of enemy presence. Well done.
All of this despite receiving minimal protection of his base from enemy team. Extremely well-targeted, team-oriented play, team leadership and very creative attacks.

Mass scoop in the middle is more efficient if you reclaim only bot wrecks. But you have to pick the right stand spots for scooping around you.

there's more mass on land: best bet is to position yourself such that you can scoop all the T3 wrecks near the salems without moving, then by time he's done with the salems, you'll be scooping the remainder of the T3 land, while he'll have to walk to get to the remainder.
I like the way you call it "Ferrari Red" but to be precise that is called Rosso Corsa (red race), and it is the international colour of Italian racing cars. Ferrari is probably the most famous (nowaday) user of that, but if the Alfa Romeo will return in Formula1, you will see it on their cars too!

hi gyle most of these setons games are random factions and random spots not sure if you are awear of this.
also in reguards to reclaim its better to get what is in your reclaim range then moving you reclaim more when you move less
my idea is a map with a new system of team-gaming experience. There is one frontplayer each team - 5v5 - players are set in a complete circle - the 2nd player behind must be as far as a t1 rush is senseless, front can decide if he riushes, if the pd s and techs with talk to his back - the player in the 3rd row might go eco or fe rush t3 land or anything, even fast t2 spam is possible, but can be EASY defeated with a potent front player on the other team. It offers so much new strategies because experience thought me, that with a nice t1 or t2 pilar spam you can own every average joe game in the line structur. make a circle and you see some good new tactics evolving
To compare you have to do beach to beach and rock to rock - Nemir was 13 up on mikzz, but hal9000 was 13 above Gilobot, so equal.

crispy played so bad as a air player he didn't support his team with his asf's when he could he didn't use his resources to the best of there ability and didn't build nearly enough
I've watch a lot of these replays and none of the teams gets on comms together
Iv noticed in seton game. Each team gets one of the sea. Never seen one team get both seas in pros or joes.
If one team gets both ponds, the game is won quickly and without difficulty

true. cuz the dynamic of water as a good hideout in certain circumstances and worse at others would be gone and you'd never ever catch an ACU with a nuke on big maps again

what are the minimum requirements to play faf? thinking about buying a pc
CPU with 3.5GHz and get a mid-range or better GPU. For GPU I'd start by looking at the GTX 1060, mid-range price with exceptional performance.

You need a fairly modern PC to play it smoothly even though it's quite an old game now, but anything you buy new should be able to play it fairly well, even cheap i3s and i5s are more than capable. The video card needs to be pretty good though if you want to play it at high resolution. I've never tried but I suspect that it wouldn't be that playable with the built in Intel graphics chipset, so you would need a proper video card - probably need to spend about USD$150 on it.
this game is more reliant on processor, look for an I5 6600k at the least which there is a big sale on right now, for graphics card you can run a gtx 950 or 1050 (which is coming next month) to save you money, but I would personally dish out a little bit extra to get the 1060 or better, but again, this game is 90% reliant on your processor

Yes, I remember trying to use those. Landing ships are a great idea, but they were so damn slow to unpack all their units onto the shore - You'd see this friggin' extendable "arm" thingy picking up units from the ship's hold - one-by-one and dropping them onto the shore - excruciatingly slowly. It would've been better to simply beach the damn ship and have a ramp drop down and let all the units drive off (sort of like real LST's and LSI's from WW2). Really weird unit design that; tantamount to a fail from the usually brilliant unit design in Total Annihilation. Lastly, they were so easy to kill that the risk of using them was enormous and in the years I played TA, I think I only saw them used a handful of times and never to any great effect.

they had a structure and a vehicle both. Vehicle was added in later I think was a long time ago
Those things were absolutely useless. They build anti nukes incredibly slow, the anti nuke building was way better. The energy cost was also really bad, and the time it took to build it in a vehicle lab T2 building.. Sheesh. Also it's all nice and fun until the unit dies. It was considerable weak, suuuuuper slow and if it died, you get the full nuke effect. Those things were ticking timebombs, I never ever build them. In PVP in TA it was the noobiest thing you could do. Trust me, FAF doesn't need an unit like that. Even if they adjust it to fit better in the supcom game, on land or navy, it's still not needed, cause most mid - pro players build multiple anti nuke buildings covering their complete base.
And no Steve Andrews, anti nukes were also limited ranged, but the nukes in TA did had infinite range. ( just like FAF )

He's an old Seton's pro. Must just not play much (reflected in global rating). He's probably more like ~1800 in terms of skill.

SupCom players have a tendency to stick to their faction and hate all other races (in a playful manner). Another reason might be that Cybran are very focused on sneaky stealth tactics and cheesy stuff like land-crawling ships and cluster tac missiles.

Gyle you should start a career as pro gaming commentator! I play War Thunder a lot, and there are professional tourneys regularly... but I never watch one through because the commentators are just horrible. You would do a 100 times better.

why the fuck the mavor cost 8k mass when a seraphin bomber costs more and is faster to build? mavor building is so slow... they need to tweak it... so mavors get into games more...

Isn't cybran the worst race for the air player? All three have better fighters and better game ending experimentals (if it comes to that).
Actually, the soul reaper is one of the most useful air experimentals. Cybran also has stealth planes which have a really nice advantage, and the most energy-generating ras.

True, but Cybran ASFs do have stealth which usually guarantees first strike, making them quite useful for luring the enemy into traps. Too bad that people never turn it on (it's off by default). Aeon is usually considered best for air players, mostly because they have Advanced RAS which you need to sustain aircraft produciton. Plus the restorers are great.
Yellow needs to use all those strats from dead player and go STRAIGHT after green commander and he win, but 👎
