Reggie was one of the FEW people I’ve come across in my 16 years as a Train Operator who actually cared about getting things fixed. If only the MTA had more Reggie’s the place would be a total
Joy to work for. But far too many people don’t give a crap and that’s a shame. Happy Retirement Reggie, you are missed.

Derek Liang Normally, proposals like this not only do they not relate to the topic or road car inspectors, they also do jot belong here on the MTA channel. However, there is actually a simple process to bring both of them back:
New track connections to be built:
-A two track connection between the Nassau Street Line and the 8th Avenue Line under Spring Street (or some other Street in SoHo)
-A connection under the East River linking the Whitehall Street station with the Hoyt-Schermerhorn stop (outer tracks and platforms reactivated).
-A connection between the Fulton Street Line and the Jamaica Line, allowing for the demolition of the elevated structure in East NY (this structure is used by the J). Stations also to be lengthened.
For capacity simplicity, all individual services will run at 12 trains per hour.
With this, 8th Avenue service is modified. The M would move to 8th Avenue and become the K, making the C go express. The C would also swap with the D north of 59th Street to preserve express service north of 145th on both branches. This allows for deinterlining of 59th Street. In addition, the E service to World Trade Center would be discontinued. Instead, the E would be paired with the K and take over the J train in Brooklyn, with the E to Metropolitan Avenue and the K to Broadway Junction (or the other way around). The J would now terminate at Essex Street (rebuilt for terminating trains). For service to Canal Street, transfer at West 4th Street.
On 6th Avenue, the extra slot would then be take over by the V, which would now operate as a Culver Express overlay of the F during weekdays. On weekends, service terminates at 2nd Avenue.
On Queens Blvd, we will see a deinterline of the 63rd Street connection, in tandem with the CBTC refitting. Here, the E and K take the Express tracks, and the F and V local. East of 71st Avenue, the E and V take Archer and the F and K take Hillside. To handle the increased service, both branches will be extended further to Queens Village and Rosedale.
On the BMT side, Broadway would also get a deinterline as well. N and Q service goes via 2nd Avenue, while the R and W goes to Astoria. To handle the increased service, the Astoria Line would get extended to LaGuardia Airport.
Meanwhile, the R and W would no longer go to South Brooklyn. Instead, both would be rerouted into the Fulton Street Line local tracks with the R going to Euclid Avenue and the W taking over the J to Jamaica Center. C service can go express to Lefferts Blvd and the A goes to Far Rockaway Only. The Jamaica Avenue Elevated will be demolished.
Finally on 4th Avenue Line, the J would extend to 95th Street. Swap the Q and D. That’s all.
Any further changes would grow out of developing plans for the South 4th Street Subway and other projects.

@@stevegn02 FYI, that was a while back, and I already reported the exact car, direction, and what not. But if I see another problem, I will report it again.

MTA should get rid of Group Station Manager MARCUS TELLIS. This guy is good for nothing. Now he make $142,000 dollars last 2021 tax year. Which is totally waste of taxpayers money.
