- If that lesson helped you, and you like to support me, I would be grateful, if you show it. Every Dollar counts. Due to the Corona Virus, all gigs have been canceled and it's hard times, especially for musicians with family. Thank you so much!

At least a new chord explanation lesson, dealing with idiomatic voicings
in gypsy jazz music. - Hudba
Its awesome that this song first came out in 1918 and people are still performing out. Great playing and great singing.
20:44 *plays chord* "this is very nice" I couldn't agree more haha
Much appreciated Sven. All of your videos are helpful. Many thanks!
Cool changes in this song.
You have a nice sounding voice too...use it more.
😎👍🏽🎶🔥♥️🔥🎶
Excellent lesson, Sven! Thank you!❤
Super gespielt, prima gesungen, klasse erklärt - danke, Sven!

Thanks a lot for sharing man ! Much Appreciated !
Thank you Sven! Great lesson for a great tune! Regards from California
Sven, superb lesson as always. Many thanks and greetings from your fans in Dublin, Ireland.
Your voice is so magical when you sing, Sven.
Fantastic lesson. Thank you.
Excellent teaching! 👏
Great lesson, great teacher
I enjoyed this video so much! You are a great teacher!
If you put the tab´s draw on the screen with the whole tune, it may be a super nice way to choose between just follow the chords and go back to your lesson to get more deep into the song languaje. thaks for the content!! :)
Good lesson. Danke schoen!
Ha! Good topic of what to have/bring on camping trips.
Also good work/lesson
Thanks for this, it's great and have a nice vybe to it. Recovering from a broken left wrist this is a good place to start, getting that extra twist to have the thumb hitting that bass note :-) Thanks!
Thanks for this handy lesson! I hope things are ok for you heath and gig wise at the moment.
Fantastic
Hi Sven, I just learned the chords today thanks to you and your video :)
love your singing too
I was looking for different versions of this song, and I must say I like this one the most (starts at 1:42). Sven sings beautifully and of course plays impeccably, with style and convincingly. There are dozens of different versions including famous names and big bands but I find them pretentious, too slow, boring, too artificial, etc. Sven's version is short and sweet. Great job. I am learning this tune as well with the help of Sven's video. Cheers.
thanks man! you're a great techer. Regards from Argentina!
wooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!! singin and swingin. need a full arrangement of this with u singing and soloing.
Thank you man!!!
Great! Thanks!!! 👏👏👏👏
OMG! YOU DID IT! TY SO MUCHHHH! I'll learn this immediately
Btw, nice guitar ;)
Not just the proper chords, but beautiful rhythm playing, and pretty good singing. And it is only after hearing you play the cowboy chords at 14:42 that I realise it is a pretty cheap guitar . Thanks.😀👌🎸
Thanks Sven, you have done much so make the transition from violin to guitar much easier for me! Great resources to be found on your channel.
I still don't get how you get this "wooden" dry sound on the downstrokes (or beats two and four), but I hope that might just come naturally with more practice
Of course one of Djangos Biggest Hits... a remake.... also on the Best of Django Rhinehart.... thanks for the post... excellent demonstration and lesson excellent breakdown...this is real teaching... sincerely, JD
Thanks so much for this, Sven, extremely satisfying song to play and sing. Now I want to learn "Just Friends" (which I know from Chet Baker and whose voice is very similar to yours!) but despite the similarities to that song, it diverges pretty significantly and I can't figure it out. If you'd care to do a brief tutorial, I would surely welcome it!
Love the video. You kind of sound like the doctor form Django Unchained
Haha I take that as a compliment! 😂
suscribed, thanks :)

Amazing lessons - so helpful. Although Joscho needs to give you a solo sometime, what's his problem?😬
top!!!
Hey Sven. Thanks so much. I would suggest a re-arrangement of your lesson. Play it snazzy and jazzy. Then, play the first position version. This allows the "student" to be amazed and then, encouraged. I have subscribed.
Hey Sven thank you for the video, the key is perfect for your voice. I have a very annoying question can you also make this amazing chords progression starting from Am x) Love to you and all the best beautiful voice!
Hi,
I do give Skype lessons :)
Warm regards
I´ve got the same guitar. The Action is a little bit too high and needs a little ajustment. But for this price it´s fine and you have some Gypsysound under your fingers.
If you play the verse it starts on the tonic
Thanks sven! Can you do one on honeysuckle rose?
This was really helpful , i feel like i ve known you for a whille an we re close friends xD
The Singing really helps acquiring these standards cuz most of the time the melody is too hard to grasp when the song is new ,even though this one is an easy song , but your singing made it easier ♡
❤
Thanks again, Sven! Where in Germany do you live?
Can you provide a link on where to buy this guitar? And thanks for the lessons ❤️
does anybody have a link for that camping guitar? I need it
Proof once again that good tone comes from the hands of the player, not the guitar. Sounds pretty decent for 300 euros!
Which model is it ?
Hi Sven. Could you please tell me wich exactly model is this guitar that you recommend? Thanks a lot for your help! Really inspires your way of teaching 🙌

I was on the verge of buying an APC like yours. I'm glad I didn't. I wonder if the grand bouche model sounds better.
It sounds crapy, indeed!
I'm not sure if I mention that in this video, but I bought it as a camping guitar, cause my family and me do that a lot in summer. Though it's a cheap and really bad guitar, it has still something that any non gypsy guitar lacks. So I got it for 150 Bucks, and I have 4 expensive GJ guitars so it was a good choice 😅👌🏻
Great lesson! Do you have the chords of the intro/verse part (not play it in this video) that sometimes is play before the chorus part that you teached here?
Actually I would have to check these out. Never played the so called verse of after you've gone. 😅
@@SvenJungbeck Thanks!
pls can u show proper chords to Vendredi 13?
Hi Sven, what was the french jazz song that you mentioned had a similar structure to after you've gone? I couldn't quite catch it
Menilmontant
@@SvenJungbeck thanks!
1:45 nice job
Love to play G augmented instead of G7 at the end of a round
Is this standard tuning?
no tabs? =(
Hi, I'm doing all this for free! Tabs come for a little donation😉

Du könntest richtig die Bühne rocken, wenn du weiter Gesang mit Gypsy mixt. Würde ich mir definitiv anschauen.
Hey Paul, ich arbeite dran 😉😜
Actually A7 to G is quite common Limehouse blues. i ain’t got nobody
Yes, you are right!
Cheap guitar, you still sound great!
Thank you Sven.
