I love the pond water kick start! I feel like establishing both terrestrial and aquatic invertebrates is overlooked when people build bioactives.
Definitely! It’s always a good thing to do in order to get the “whole package” when making these setups. The aquatic portion is probably the most important at first too as the roots & soil harbour from that initially 😄❤️
American green tree frogs were the first species I ever kept and they'll always have a special place in my heart. I bet they absolutely love this setup. I know I do! 😉
I feel it wont be long till we should have guided tours of your setups. So we can enjoy them upclose.
Manual misting you can keep track of the moisture level but if you forget it will get dry. So it depends how good you go at misting constantly
Yeah that’s true! I think it’ll probably have a plus and minus benefit on both sides of it 😄
Fantastic video and set up I truly believe the long tail lizards were the perfect species for the tank. Hope to maybe see a nice simple live succulent desert tank with a desert hairy or a dune scorpion, maybe a few blue faint beetles in the far future.

I'm planning a waterfall setup but am worried my isopods might drown!
Haha! So many people have told me this 😂
They’re good if you don’t have any shrimps 😀
A few of them will drown, I’ve noticed no matter how calm the water is on the surface, whether it’s got a tonne of floating plants to stop them drowning, they somehow still manage to drown. Only a couple but they’re super clumsy sadly
