I've played paris so much when aiming to 100% every map that this song, the catwalk theme, and the lady near the entrance who says "Look Daniel, she's nice!" are now common things I hear when doing anything regardless of if it's related to hitman. It almost feels nostalgic at this point because I have been playing for so long.
This mission and the whole game in general. Never was interested in the series but the second I tried the Morocco demo that was released as promotional material for the game and after playing it and realizing how the sandbox and the level structure is like an Immersive Sim I literally fell in love right then and there. Week later bought the full game and dlc content. Never looked back since.
I swear this song is everywhere in the entire WoA trilogy. I'll be sneaking along and blending in and all of a sudden I'm like "is that the fucking Paris music again?" It's a good one, but holy shit does EVERYONE else in universe agree 🤣
I actually started playing the Miami mission like literally yesterday and that song they have in the driver's lounge is so good, but this also has a very nice beat( I haven't even played the first one yet, started from 2,but I have the whole trilogy, I just need time now 😂
I've been obsessed with Hitman soundtracks since Hitman 2 PS2 era. I love Jesper Kyd's work but Niels Bye Nielsen delivered an equally insane soundtrack. It's the same mix of cinematic/opera and electronic music just as Kyd's yet completely different in terms of narrative sensation it gives. A really great score.
Yeah. Kyd's was very gritty and raw, which is how the world actually is (Hitman taking your life like it's nothing). Niels' take is a light and polished world, where nobody would dream of killing and, on the surface, all is normal (but instead there is a Hitman that knows every dirty secret and is coming for you).
This music makes me feel like someone in a high position like Novikov but at the same time not as known, kind of like a secret millionaire amongst the people just enjoying drinks and talking casually instead of plotting or gossiping.
it has the same kind of techno track too. With how the World of Assassination approached Hitman, it's probably not a coincidence either. They were leaning heavily in the James Bond influence this time.
Love to jam to this by crouching and uncrouching until-

Why does a stealth game have such kickass music
IO knows their shit
Almost every stealth game has chill music until you fuck up :D

The Miami Lounge bar also has a sick, very "realistic" track
diana: what are you doing, you're supposed to be assassinating the target
me not caring just standing in the bar in paris:
Yaaaaasssss!! This!!!
*Shows footage of the player spinning around like a maniac*
This music is engraved in my head forever
Same
this one and the catwalk one
This soundtrack has no business being this addicting
This is actually quite nice to listen to when doing other things.

"Shutting down this freak show"
1 dislike? Viktor Novikov wasn't happy with that Bare Knuckle Boxer.
good one
Of course he wasn't, it left him puking in the restroom.

Know that feeling. Can't listen to "You" by Bad Religion without having the sounds of the first trick after dropping into The Hangar in my ears.
This theme feels like I put rat poison on everyone’s drink
The Janitor is gonna have a busy day with this one
every time i hear this, it reminds me of my first playthrough which was sleep deprived me at 4 am trying to desperately find a way to get sa

I like to believe Agent 47 plays this while cleaning up his house, like a sick joke that takes him back cleaning up Palais de Walewska.
That's actually a very clever thought. It's like a memoire, his own way of writing down what has been done on a diary.
This makes me want to order a bareknuckle boxer
