  • In Part 1 of Big Keithstone solo, Baby S Mac asks Big Keithstone about the historical Carolina West, built as a bowling alley in 1959, it later became a nightclub. For a while in the mid-1960’s, part of the building was in use as an adult theatre, known as the Century Theatre. This theater became home to a notable ‘gentleman’s club’ with live performances, located close-by LAX.
It was closed in August 2009, to be demolished for expansion of the airport. Demolition took place in December 2009.Also on the menu is Fast Eddie's Steakhouse on Western Ave in Eight Tray Gangsters turf.
Finally, the slogan Rich Rollin' coined in the early 1980s made famous by Big Joe Rat during the introduction to the crack cocaine era in South Los Angeles. Many gangs that use the term Rollin' typically use this term but rarely know where it derives from. WC and CJ Mack collaberated on a song title Rich Rollin on WC's Shadiest One Album Released on: 1998-04-28 ...

He's right. From my recollection, back in late 70's & early 80's Los Angeles, you knew WHO was in WHAT area; if you didn't, you'd DEFINITELY get banged-on & packed-out. You'd surely remember WHO was WHERE after some run-in's! I grew up on the West Side of L.A., Redondo & Venice. But I used to hear "Rich Rollin'" back in the early 80's, as there were a few 60's living in my apartment building.

    Watched again.
He Highlights a crucial era and intersection in black Los Angeles Street history : the transition from the Tootie Reese generation to the freeway Rick era and the hybrid hustler - banger prototype .
A lot of cats were equally influenced by Tookie and Tootie : they saw that green rolls Royce parked in front of Tootie's Apartment building on crenshaw just south of 65th. If you lived in the area you knew who's car that was and who owned the building.
He is telling the truth about teenagers wearing tailor made suits , perms and stacys while banging too.

I understand what he saying everybody brought their own flava to the pot so there is no leader in particular. But at the end of the day everybody made their impression for what its worth. From watching these videos overtime its like the 60s is a company but numerous fractions/subsets within the actual set but nonetheless I notice every Second Generation OG never leaves out Rick,Motormouse or Babyface names as guys they looked up to or guys who laced them up in a G’d Up way
