    My kid's LTRP is going to expire in Aug 2023.I have already applied for extension and purchased pvzp insurance for next 2 years as its required for LTRP application.

      @jankalina-CzechVisaExpert  Před rokem +1

      Hey and thank you for the nice words :) As for public insurance, I am pretty sure it will not be for free :) If you get registered into the public system, you can cancel pVZP and get a portion of the cost back.

    • @dufko86
      @dufko86 Před rokem

      Regarding public insurance fee - it won't be free, you would need to pay every month for your child same amount that self-employed persons in CZ pays insurance (cca some 2k Kč);
      Regarding ending PVZP insurance policy - It won't be possible as there is a provision in law change that states that children with commercial insurance will be able to join public insurance after commercial insurance policy expires ... Also, in papers you get from PVZP when signing for insurance you can read that there is no possibility to end agreement and get back money more than 2 months after start of your policy ... They thought on everything ...

    In my case my mother left Czechoslovakia in 1952 and married an Englishman. I want to regain my Czech nationality, I have relatives that I visit. My Czech is so-so because my English father stopped us as children learning it. I am 60 but have money so don't expect to be dependent on Czechia for income, just want to be able to live there without visa for extended periods without a visa, while retaining property in the UK and pensions etc. in the UK. But maybe also being able to buy property in Czechia / live by my relatives in Czechia to make up for lost time. What are my prospects with this?

They said it can be from pvzp for complete 1 year or 3 months from other vendors like Axa and remaining 9 months from pvzp. As I am having blue card and she is allowed to work from day 1st so obviously she would be getting insurance from employer too . In this case can’t we arrange it for only 3 months from pvzp?
