"Its cost me a pretty penny anyway which is why I bought myself a PS5" .....Liam got in there quick - nice one 😂🤣😂🤣😂
he did and its not like I could argue with him either haha
I believe children should be taught acceptance and respect for all regardless of gender, religion, or colour
and species
Me too. I believe that adults should lead by example also. I have a question..Why do we need Gay Pride Festival's and Carnivals in 2024?..when we helped win the political fight for love and marriage 20yrs ago.? How about the Heterosexual men, women and children? Should we start a movement and a Festival / Carnival to remind the, theys, those, zees, she, hers...of what their parents or guardians tried to teach them ? Something is off and Liam and Alexis are old enough to know it.💞✌
@@vickieandrew1010 The reason Pride is still a thing, is because nowhere in the world is heterosexuality criminalized, men and women never had to protest for their right to love each other. Are you from Canada btw? I’m asking because that’s the only place that I’m aware, where same sex marriage has been legal for that long, that doesn’t apply to most places, like America, it hasn’t been over a decade yet since same sex marriage is was legalized nationwide, same in the UK, and this year Greece made it legal.
@@vickieandrew1010 because people's rights can be stripped away if we don't protect them
@@dana4801 🥱.. with respect please refer to my former comment and no, Im not from Canada.
Wonderful video. Having been a transexual for many years now, I remember when it was a VERY negative thing to be called. I think it describes people like me and Alexis very succinctly. Love you guys !
Enjoy the podcast. Love the energy u2 give off. It's obvious how much you'll support one another. Keep doing what you're doing....
Thank you! Will do!
Love watching you both. Thanks for being so open and helping educate us.
Great idea, and Alexis you own hair looks fantastic. Great video. You two are total naturals at this
Alexis would you consider discussing what is was like as a professional dancer and what went into a career change?
This has to be the best podcast I've seen from you. You were accurate with your information, citations added to substantiate your claims, there was research done and then your own anecdotal evidence. Now that's how we educate the public about us so that they can understand that anomalies also happen in human brains and that it is as a result of the fetus being exposed to very high levels of oestrogen. It's rare but normal. Loved this, keep it up. ❤😊
"We are who we are." Yes, thank you Liam.
This is my new favourite podcast! You’re both very honest and interesting to listen to 😁
Also it’s great to listen to people from South Yorkshire where I live too!
Glad you enjoy it! Yeah Liam's accent is defo more Yorkshire than mine I think!
How dare you! He's lush!
I absolutely love you 2! So honest and just saying how your lives are. If you love someone you love someone, no matter what body you are in. Your love for each other shines through all the gender bollox. Alexis has found a person who loves them, and who they love. That's worth more than anything in the world x
As a trans woman I think you doing an excellent job. You got yourself a new fan
Yay! You're back! My favourite couple who have great down to earth chats. Love it! You are both amusing and intelligent why not expand your topics for the podcast doesn't always have to be about gender and sexuality does it? But that is interesting and important to discuss.
We will keep that in mind thank you! ❤ x
You are such a dynamic duo❤ Liam needs to get his own channel too, he is great on screen!
I keep telling him to start his own channel and he's like "Yeah but what would I even talk about" im like ANYTHING! hahaha he's a nerd so I said just stream your games or whatever
You look beautiful with the hair natural!❤🎉
I appreciate seeing and having you address things without the extreme views like dylan mulvaney and you are much more palatable for straight people and gays like myself to understand all these issues.
20:03 'thats the next part of the plan that im working on' 😭😭😂
Thank you so much for answering my question, much appreciated. I love how you both communicate with each other. I’m sure your conversations are so interesting. Love your videos, please keep them coming. Hugs from Canada! ❤️❤️
Love you guys!
Love your banter... and voice of reason.❤

Your hair looks great, hon! Woo for being on Spotify 😄 This was a great episode. That is fascinating, the study about the brain scans! Lots of love to you both! 💜💜
Thank you so much!!
My OCD didn’t catch that. I straighten crooked pictures, even at others homes
Loved the content, very educational but light hearted as well. And your hair looks great, Alexis, with or without the hair extensions ❤
To respond to the question coming from Canada: Most clinics are public, so access to an endocrinologist is covered by your current healthcare. Hormones and blockers are in most part covered by universal healthcare, depending which vector you choose. For surgeries, bottom surgery is covered after you go through the hoops (medical, psychologist appointments, sexologist to sign off on it, ...) which takes about and is mandated to about a year of hormone replacement therapy. For trans men, mastectomy is covered, but anything else (both for male and female) is considered aesthetic and is not covered, but there is a part that is credited on comes income taxes. Hope this helps.
I believe it also depends on the province. I'm in BC and i know of an acquaitance who transitioned several years back and they had to fly to Quebec to have her bottom surgery because BC either didnt have one at the time or it was a super super long waitlist. So the person ended up having to pay because she was in Quebec for an extended amount of time to do the after care and physical therapy etc. Also coverage outside of your own province can be a bit weird.
@@Lemonade_Stand_ oh yeah a lot of trans folks come to Montreal for it. I heard the doctor performing the bottom surgery here is world renowned and a lot of provinces will even cover it since it's still in Canada. At least for Quebec it works that way, any tax credit or coverage works as long as the procedure happens within Canada.
Don't worry I am still having issues with Apple podcast and still hasn't resolved itself but good luck love you guys so honest and love that you want to shine a light on topics others may not want to approach x Take Care x
great vid thanks for making it. i will revere all questions i get to this vid from now on :P
I can't stop looking at your hair. So beautiful. Mine is snapping and falling out...yay menopause.
Liam's beard matches your hair Alexis! My beard was also red but my hair was dark blonde. We are all descended from Vikings!
The genetics question is iffy. There is a difference between something being genetic and being congenital (being born that way). There are some genes that are linked to being transgender but the genetics of it are not solid and it is a complex topic compared to some other differences in the brain. You have to remember that gender is culturally dependent and that makes things very messy.
Anyway, I am not diminishing this at all. I have a neuromuscular eye condition that is congenital but that we do not know the cause of so we don't know if it is genetic.

You two are SO cute ... always look forward to these vids!
You two always make me smile and laugh. Here's to keepin' it real!! Cheers ♥🍷
Liam said he’d bought a PS5 and an ad for writing a will popped up 😂
ffs that's hilarious!!!!
Have you ever heard of the movie soldiers girl , it's about a man who falls in love with a trans woman who performs in a nightclub and he's in the military he fully accepts her as a ts woman but this was when even being a gay man was very taboo in the military so it doesn't go down well when his peers find out , it is a very good movie i definitely recommend watching it it ❤
I read the synopsis and its not really my cup of tea it seems bit upsetting - I knows its based on true story and that had a sad/bad ending :( x

@deedee7733 I'm so glad it's not just me. As someone who is neuro divergent with OCD, I had to concentrate really hard on their faces. But that was no hardship, because they're both gorgeous!
You two are adorable! Loved this Q&A. ❤
You guys are so cute that I would much rather watch than just listen, but good luck with the podcasts just the same.
Bit nervous to comment, last podcast comments were scary, so I'm just sharing actual science, not opinion, but the brain develops in utero at a different time from when the sexual organs develop. Sexual differentiation of the genitals takes place in the first two months of pregnancy and sexual differentiation of the brain starts in the second half of pregnancy, these two processes can be influenced independently, which may result in transgender, gender dysphoria, etc. That's why it is important to recognise the research that supports the separation of biological sex, gender, and sexuality. I think as scientific research continues to evolve surrounding issues of gender and sexuality we will soon be able to determine at what point in brain development sexuality is determined and look at what factors may cause the differentiation between genital development and the development of 'male' or 'female' brains.
Don't eat bananas while pregnant.
It's an interesting subject.
Great show

I'm 58. There's nothing new here Alexis, whether it be bisexuality, gay, lesbian or trans. The problem is the mob mentality of the woke, who are shutting down the free speech of all..including our kids who are straight. I struggle with the word queer too as being older it was used for pedaphiles and so for a bigot to use it for a gay man,it was suggesting there was no difference between the 2, so I still cannot use the term to describe someone as it has very a bad vibe with me. I hope that helps a little with wondering why us that are older struggle with the term.
I do believe that who you are attracted to can change especially after hormones or at least in my case that is correct. I used to only be attracted to women but after hormones I see men differently. Now I'm bi and still learning more about myself. Hormones have changed me big time and for the good!
I was put on testosterone for endometriosis back in the day (the very distant day). Go figure. All it did was leave me with permanent hair on my chin and a few other physical changes I'd prefer not to mention. I was off them as soon as I could as I'm not gender dysphoric. This brief horror didn't make me fancy (nice old word) women, but I did develop a fanatical interest in sport, and I hate every single thing about sport. Unlike the body hair, this craze faded fast when I came off the things. With these hormones, we never know how they're going to affect us, in truth.
@@deedee7733why didn’t any doctor, inform you about the use of testosterone before prescribing it to you?! Sounds like they gave you the wrong dosage
I'm very Distraught on hearing Santa Claus might not exist,😭 I'm in deep shock, surly you can't be right Liam.😭
Shhhhh don’t know what your talking about 😅 x
I recently read that a high percentage (majority) of implant leakages is caused from mammograms, and that you should seek out people/places that are trained or accustomed to working with implants.
Love you two. Liam buying a PS5, lol there is a method in his madness!! I don't do gaming myself. But I do adore motorsport (F1)
Amazing analogy actually!
Ooh enjoy the PS5 Liam! God of War Ragnarok is amazing. Curious what other PS exclusives you’re gonna play
What a beautiful couple.
The 1st thing out of every wife's mouth when confronted with confessions: "What have you done? What have you bought?!"😅
A transgender acquaintance died from metastasized breast cancer discovered during shoulder surgery. I have known senior citizens who were on hormones for menopause who got breast cancer from the hormone therapy.
it's a trade. high testosterone can cause prostate cancer. high estrogen can cause breast cancer. having neither is also very unhealthy
What are your thoughts about side affects of hormones and drugs you need to transition and maintain? I'm thinking of taking testosterone myself. Some of the side effects can be scary. I enjoy your content.
Hi Alexis🎉🎉🎉

My uncle was born with an extra finger like that and also had it removed.
The definition of genetic is that it is part of the genome (the DNA) and inherited from ancestors. There is not evidence of this one way or the other. However, something can be biological and organic without having a genetic component. Personally, I have Lupus which is USUALLY genetic, but no one in many generations of my family has ever had it. So that shows it is not genetic but there was certainly some biological issue. A mutation means that your personal genome is different than that of your parents. However, things can still persist as biological without mutations. Something as simple as dietary issues are linked to any number of mental and physical disorders. So while there is not evidence that gender dysphoria is genetic, I am positive there could be a strong case to show there is a biological link.
LOVE YOU BOTH SO MUCH....ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Awwww thank youuuu ❤
Can you talk about autogynophelia?
It's often left out of these conversations but it is very important IMO.

You two are delightful! 👩❤👨
Hey thank you very much, enjoying your work here.. Thank you. I do want to ask. From a Queer Gay Male here, a little more thought with the if-you-both-wake-up-to-a-zombie-apocalypse- type question: it is clearly asking what you both would do if there was no longer any access to your pharmacy hormone replacement. No pharmacies, what then?
In my own view I wouldn't say anybody is born a certain way when so many factors shape and form individuals their whole life. I wouldn't say I was born straight. My whole life and my own unique experiences with the world and how the world speaks about sexuality means I am straight. Not that it was inherent from birth.
Do y’all know if the brain scan studies were pre cross sex hormones or post?
The study was done on those who identified as transgender before receiving any gender informing hormone therapy. And their brains were compared to 24 Cisgender men and 24 Cisgender women.
The study is called 'Brain (s)ex in transgender women is shifted towards gender identity' if you want to look it up. Daddy CZcams deleted my other comment which says that it was pre hormone treatment because I went a bit more in depth and used terms they don't like. But, yea, it was individuals pre treatment compared to Cis men and women.
All I can say is your children will be well balanced and beautiful.x
I understood that the Hypothalamus is responsible for sexual preferences.
Gay men have a smaller Hypothalamus more the size of a females
Straight men have a larger hypothalamus it is in the MRI Scans...
Your are delightful to watch
I am gay but I don't describe myself as queer. Queer is an insult to me.
Love U two ❤❤❤❤
I love you guys!
Can I ask a question - something I don’t understand. If you’ve got identical twins - both natal females - one is very gender non-conforming and looks like a boy but calls herself a girl. The other is identical but identifies as a boy and wants to be referred to as he/him. What exactly is the difference between them?
To me it seems the twin that wants to be referred to as he/him can’t accept it’s perfectly fine to be a girl to act and look like a boy…or am I missing something?
Hope you don't mind me jumping in but there have been studies on twins where one identifies as transgender and the other doesn't. Some of the research is available in National Geographics Gender Revolution special issue. I believe there is a documentary version, but I don't know if the twin research features in the documentary, as I have only read it, not seen it.
@@rule_brittania2142this is really interesting, thanks for pointing this out. I just googled National Geographic Gender Revolution.
On the front cover is a child who identifies as trans (m to f) with the caption “the best thing about being a girl is now I don’t have to pretend to be a boy”.
This makes me really sad - boys should be allowed to wear dresses and make up without having to identify into a whole new sex. If people who are not gender non-conforming could be more accepting of gender non-conforming kids (ie boys in dresses) then surely that’s far more progressive than identifying as transgender. Can you see how transgender ideology is therefore inherently regressive - it reinforces stereotypes.
I know some people have crippling gender dysphoria which only hormones and surgery can relieve (hence the term transsexual). I see this as a different issue to being ‘transgender’.
to put it simply, identical twins share genetics, they don't share a brain and most of the "transgender-ism" (for lack of a better term) stems from neural activity and the thought processes provided to us by our brains. also it's important to distinguish between being trans and being a tomboy, ones an sense of being that our brain provides and one is just an aesthetic preference. hence why you can absolutely have identical twins where one is trans and the other is not. hope this answers your question :)
I enjoy this podcast. But I do think they are avoiding the really tough questions.
Which public restroom does Alexis use, the Men's Room or the Women's Room?
Which locker room does Alexis use, the Men's locker room or the Women's locker room?
What is their opinion about the recent NHS decision to stop using puberty blockers?
While I understand your frustration with wanting to know Alexis' views on certain topics, it is down to her to decide her boundaries and what topics she tackles. Alexis isn't a loud spoken individual who wants everyone to think the way she thinks. She's very thoughtful and careful with her words because she doesn't want to be a cause of division, and that's her choice. I was honestly surprised she answered my question about violence against transwomen, as it is a heavy topic to approach. Though she speaks on her experience of being a Trans woman, she is not trying to be a Transgender spokesperson and how much of herself, her life, and her opinions she shares is down to her. Though she might not have directly answered a few of her questions she has in past videos said she uses women's restrooms since she has transitioned and commented something along the lines of her believing you should use the restroom appropriate to the gender you present yourself to be, but that just being her opinion, I would assume the same for locker rooms, and I doubt she would talk much on NHS decisions as she chose to go private and she doesn't like to comment on things she has not experienced or looked into. She might not answer bathroom/locker room questions because she has talked about it in past videos and frequently gets asked the question and doesn't want to constantly be talking about the loo?
I think most women are innately very intuitive, they have to be to care for their young and to avoid danger, because, like it or not, we're vulnerable. Every three days, one woman is murdered by a man in the UK, this is the reality. We are the weaker sex. Most of us would have no trouble with Alexis using female facilities because of subtle things like body language, the way she expresses herself and more, this is what we pick up on. Alexis has a female vibe and probably did when she was a man. Someone like Eddie Izzard, though, who I admire greatly as a comedian, is clearly a transvestite - she's said so herself - and not gender dysphoric and I wouldn't want her walking into the female toilets. And it isn't simply that she doesn't "pass", in fact I think the way she dresses is very cool, I like it, but her body language and way of talking is, to me, clearly male and, metaphorically, women's hair stands up on end if our intuition tells us she's a strange man we're alone with in a space where we, to be blunt, pull down our knickers. No amount of lecturing from trans extremists, male and female, is going to stop that reaction. It's primordial. Trouble is, blurring everyone into the one category "trans" is causing confusion and ignorance in the general population, which helps no one.
cutes couple ever❤❤❤❤❤❤

Yes we realised after the fact don’t haha it’s stressing me out 😅
Yes we are definitely born different just as other Neurodivergent people are (example, Autistic, ADHD, and more). BTW im a Christian, very much Loved by Jesus Christ and I have Gender Dysphoria using Hormone Replacement Treatment to TREAT my Gender Dysphoria.
The question about whether it’s genetic usually refers to where something is inherited genetically through genes passed down through parents.
I thought the same, but when I googled it, it's not necessarily referring to inherited genetics, it can also be referring to genetic variation or genetic anomalies. Genetics is just the study of our genes as a more broad subject, it is then sub-categorised into things like heredity, variation, evolution, etc.
@@rule_brittania2142 I stand corrected 🙂
Back in the day, it was a big no no to be in the forces.
Sex is OBSERVED at Birth not assigned.

Wait santa isn't real????
😂
You should do this again but put “transsexual” instead of transgender and see if there are any differences
"transsexual" has been a medical term that's been deemed derogatory by critical gender theory folks. it's existed as simply a term long before it was ever thought of as somehow derogatory. If anything it's on it's way BACK in fashion.
Genetic and being born that way arent exactly the same thing. Like having a genetic mutation can lead to having a certain condition but you can also be born with sth without it being genetic. Id definitely say that being trans is something you are born with generally. Maybe theres some cases where outside influence like trauma or hormonal changes lead to changing the brain. But generally id say trans people are born that way. But is it genetic? Im not too sure
From my perspective....
Transvestite = presenting as the *opposite* gender (appearance)
Transgender = gender identity differs from biological sex (identity)
Transsexual = desire for permanent anatomical/biological modification to better match gender identity (biology/anatomy)
And 4. Gender Non-conforming = presents in a way that some people associate with the opposite sex due to regressive stereotyping but helps to reject that stereotype by identifying with their natal sex…
@JenniferCritical gender non-conformity is a marvelous thing, though I wouldn't necessarily include gender non-conforming people under the "trans" umbrella
EDIT: Although there are also plenty of gender non-conforming transgender/transsexual people, as well, but it definitely depends on the specific individual.
@@mxdahliabelleI agree with you - I don’t think it should come under the trans umbrella either - just thought I’d add it to the list of ‘gender diverse’ definitions and explain how it’s a marvellous thing like you say 😊
what ??? "sexual orientation can change".....???? ok then conversion on sexual conversion is fine?
@@JonathanJimbo Great response, also it should be taken into account not just that sexuality can be fluid but can be biased by a person's socio-economic demographic, like being raised in a right-wing Christian home and being home schooled, you may not know that there are sexualities like Asexual, etc. There is a difference to learning and exploring more about your own sexuality and being forced to be the social norm accepted in your demographic.
@@JonathanJimbo My son identifies as asexual, and he didn't have knowledge of the term ( or really any terms other than straight, bi, and gay ) when kids at his school were harassing him wanting to know if he was gay or straight. I had to sit down and find a website that defined, in a teen friendly way, LGBTQIA+ terms, and he was so relieved to find a term he could use that he felt represented how he felt. Education matters so much. I was raised in a right-wing Christian home and home schooled, I was 36 when I finally recognised I was pansexual. Human sexuality is so beautifully complex and individual, even how it is looked at and understood is individual. I've oft thought 'love is love, we don't need labels' but seeing how accepted my son felt to know that he wasn't alone in the way he felt and that he had the language to represent himself shows how important labels can be to some.
Transexual because gender doesn't trans heterosexual because I know what fits and what doesn't
