  • In a world of increasing turmoil, should America be acting as the global “moral police?” When is our nation responsible for stopping genocide, fighting poverty and addressing other pressing issues we face as a country “with a conscience?” And how do we balance our domestic concerns with those outside of our borders? Fareed Zakaria, host of CNN's Fareed Zakaria GPS discusses these challenges.
This event was recorded as part of OpenXChange on Tuesday, May 10, 2016.

I'm going to speak in general terms and not about this particular video in its entirety.
Agreed, you are a true newsman -- always objective, never push agendas -- no matter how strongly you rely on some convictions that this country brings you to. Please continue stay the course of your reporting being as impartial as another news anchor can possibly be. Unfortunately, there will always be one Fareed Zakaria. look out Not many reporters can stay within your objective and seek-the-truth-at-all-costs type of reporting.
(I wish I could give you a high five Zareek); all the best to you and yours. Make sure you aren't affected by this recent November surprise in number of cases and deaths. 😏 😬 ☹

My interview with Dr Ajay Mathur, a member of Prime Minister’s Council on Climate Change and a key negotiator, was the Indian spokesperson at the 2015 Paris Climate Accord negotiation. He speaks to me about the implications of the Trump-led US government’s pull out from the climate accord on India’s efforts to combat climate change and the domestic energy-efficiency ecosystem.

CNN is still one of the best news outlets in the US. That's why F. Zakaria is smart enough to stick with them, otherwise he would've been long gone to PBS or elsewhere.

22:18 - From per-capita income to GDP. Nice trick.
In 2016 China's per-capita GDP was just 8148$ where US had 58000$. So Zakaria is talking nonsense.
