Oh my friend, losing a parent is the worst. When i lost my dad the only thing that made it tolerable (and it was not/is still not always tolerable) is that other people have gone through this too. Its like we are all part of some really shit club, but at least we can support each other. What a beautiful tribute to your beautiful mum to marry your love. There is a wonderful quote about it being the mark of a strong person to be able to hold grief in one hand and joy in the other, and you are doing that so well. Sending love ❤️

My condolences on the loss of your mum. I too lost my mom when I was 22 yrs old. My advice is that grief ebbs and flows like the ocean. Sometimes it will be calm and other times it will be tormentous. Allow yourself the space to feel both. Its apart of the healing process. So, so sorry for the loss of your mum. I know the feeling all too well, it’s been 17 years and I remember thinking a day without my mum was way too long. I was blessed to have made the journey back to England and be with her right up to the end. In memory of her I incorporated partial details of her in my passwords. All scrambled up and only making sense to me. This way I feel that I touch base with her every day. Fond memories of your mum will most definitely keep you and the tears will turn into smiles and then laughter. So please be king to yourself. Btw, you do look like your mum.

I’ve also experienced that the biggest loss in my life lead to new positive experiences. It’s so unfair and horrible and it’s been hard for me to enjoy the good things when they are associated with loss. I lost my partner, my mom got alzheimers and had to step in a take part of her life and all her decisions, a new person at work turned by colleagues against me,i lost my job i had for 11 years. I said goodbye to friends.. it was just endless pain and suffering. Now i’ve started my own business and i’ve been able to help my mother have a thriving life with her illness. Congratulations on your marriage. And I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard losing a parent. My dad passed away on the 31st August 2022 and on the 2nd February 2023, my mum passed away. It took me a long time to process, that my dad was gone. And when reality hit me, my mum passed away, so again, I couldn't process her not being there. For all my sisters and family, as a reminder of my parents, I printed out the best photo of them both ( when they both looked well and happy), to look at and remember all the love and support they gave to us all. Grieve will never leave you, you learn to live each day....... Keeping their memories alive in our heart.

Oh my friend, losing a parent is the worst. When i lost my dad the only thing that made it tolerable (and it was not/is still not always tolerable) is that other people have gone through this too. Its like we are all part of some really shit club, but at least we can support each other. What a beautiful tribute to your beautiful mum to marry your love. There is a wonderful quote about it being the mark of a strong person to be able to hold grief in one hand and joy in the other, and you are doing that so well. Sending love ❤️

My condolences on the loss of your mum. I too lost my mom when I was 22 yrs old. My advice is that grief ebbs and flows like the ocean. Sometimes it will be calm and other times it will be tormentous. Allow yourself the space to feel both. Its apart of the healing process. So, so sorry for the loss of your mum. I know the feeling all too well, it’s been 17 years and I remember thinking a day without my mum was way too long. I was blessed to have made the journey back to England and be with her right up to the end. In memory of her I incorporated partial details of her in my passwords. All scrambled up and only making sense to me. This way I feel that I touch base with her every day. Fond memories of your mum will most definitely keep you and the tears will turn into smiles and then laughter. So please be king to yourself. Btw, you do look like your mum.

I’ve also experienced that the biggest loss in my life lead to new positive experiences. It’s so unfair and horrible and it’s been hard for me to enjoy the good things when they are associated with loss.
I lost my partner, my mom got alzheimers and had to step in a take part of her life and all her decisions, a new person at work turned by colleagues against me,i lost my job i had for 11 years. I said goodbye to friends.. it was just endless pain and suffering.
Now i’ve started my own business and i’ve been able to help my mother have a thriving life with her illness. I also supported my siblings through difficult times. Wish for even more blessings soon.

Congratulations on your marriage. And I'm so sorry for your loss. It's so hard losing a parent. My dad passed away on the 31st August 2022 and on the 2nd February 2023, my mum passed away. It took me a long time to process, that my dad was gone. And when reality hit me, my mum passed away, so again, I couldn't process her not being there.
For all my sisters and family, as a reminder of my parents, I printed out the best photo of them both ( when they both looked well and happy), to look at and remember all the love and support they gave to us all.
Grieve will never leave you, you learn to live each day....... Keeping their memories alive in our heart.
