At the time when he wrote stepping stones he had been hated on for revival and didnt know where his career was headed. Fortunately for us Em was headed back to the top spot... I appreciate u being real and showing love to those that have lost some1 close. I've lost many ppl close and losing my best friend was the hardest. I relate with Em cuz it took me to a dark place and his music helped pull me out of it. Hes my favorite rapper because of his real music and talent. The crazy or funny stuff i love for his wordplay and bars. He can do it all and thats why hes the Greatest rapper ever. Ive lost both parents and 2 husbands and its so true...nothing will ever be the same again. I run a charity so also felt like I had to "be the strong one" after the death of my last husband. Couldnt do it..................had to resign my position so I could take the time I needed to grieve. My first husband was in "the life" and ended up with a bullet in his brain..I was just calling and calling him for 2 days.......he had been shot and killed in a crackhouse he was in to drop off some shit..............they had just put his body in a bathtub after taking all his money and product and kept getting high around him ( he didnt use...he was there for business purposes) and someone who was there who actually had an ounce of humanity called 911 from a payphone and told them there was a dead body at this address....so I have been through some shit 2 and when peeps are in grief, they act certain ways that dont even make sense to them. Its the pain that makes u a diff person.
