People act like the ocean isn't extremely unpredictable. I was stuck in 8 foot swells in the Keys after clear forecast and calm morning weather. Was a rough ride but it's part of why I love boating.
A mystery?? 😂 Humans have been building giant ships for hundreds of years. It's how Americans got to this land. A mystery? Ship building is hardly a mystery. Fascinating, yes.
Most of them are made out of aluminum, believe it or not, and they’re very hard to sync, especially the new ones they can go through storms like that even though they’re supposed to avoid them. They’re not ocean liners. They are cruise ships but that one had a sharp front end, I can only imagine though it would be like being bugs inside of a coffee can Being shook around
"No man will be a sailor who has contrivance enough to get himself into a gaol; for being in a ship is being in a gaol, with the chance of being drowned."
I mean I can understand that this would be scary for most people, but it sounds like they were doing the best they could. Communication is helpful in these situations to reassure everyone and reduce panic.
You want announcements from these Captains 😂 May I remind you of the costa concordia captain Who abandon ship while it was sinking with people still on board. Or the Korean Captain who told all students to remain in cabins as as 299 students sunk into the abyss . Don’t worry she’s unsinkable
Had similar with Holland America but did some research and it'll take a huge wave to even get a huge ship tossed over. Took some motion sickness pills and watched Cast away. 😂
Let me get this straight. You go on a giant ocean liner. Encounter some rough seas. Some shirts fell off a rack in a gift shop. And this is somehow major national news? What is the point of the story here? Interview some guys that work and live on trans Atlantic cargo ships and tankers. This was nothing.
Y’all ever thought it was our Heavenly Fathers showing you what he is capable of doing?? He does say to not travel on the sabbath day and we continually do not want to obey his commandment. Just be grateful he allowed you to see another day❤️❤️
I live on a sailboat in S. Florida. No one that I know can control the weather. Kudos to crew and Captain for getting the ship home safely.

They should get charged extra for the adventure!
Don’t give them any ideas
😂😂😂😂😂
The ship did not sink, end of story.
The bullet only grazed you. You’re still alive. End of story. (See how dumb you sound?)
Doesn't take away from the fact that it's scary. It's about the journey, not the end result
"But did you die?"
If it was me on that boat, I’d say that storm voyage is a bonus!!! Sounds like fun!!!
How these cruise ships stay afloat to begin with is a mystery.

Science
Buoyancy... it's not really a mystery

@@SFVGIRL It's also why it took so long for Americans to get to this land lol, image sailing this kind of water in a wooden boat
Glad that everyone made it safely & hats off to the crew. How in the world did they get that ship ready to sail again so fast?
Because thats nothing. You should see some of the waves small fishing boats take on near the arctic
It's like out on open ocean the weather is uncontrollable.
Are you reminding yourself that or something? lol that's not the point of the vid

Plot twist just be aware that freak storms can randomly happen. It’s the sea and the sea is always unpredictable.
Its the ocean…yeah.
This is why im a land lubber.

It was the newly Weds in room318 rocking the ship🤣
Best comment here for sure!!! 😂
Ha! 😂
Those ships are able to take storms like that it’s scary, but the chance of sinking would have to be due to a poor captain.

This is why I will never go on a cruise. I watched the "Titanic." That was all I needed to see.🙂
Just another reason why I’ll never go on a cruise ship 😭
Thats what a boat does! If u want a pleasant trip, walk.
Imagine being upset with the ships crew because the weather didn’t go as you wanted it to
11 hrs? I could not handle 11 mins of that.
Choices come with CONSEQUENCES😮 FACT 💯👀
and this gift shop
Imagine going on a cruise lol
Could never be me
Why is it always carnival on the news? that's why I have never or ever will try them....
Everyone wants to ride on the high seas until the seas or high
No more cruise vacations
It's called the ocean
This is what you should expect from the OCEAN it’s open water dude.
You call that rough? I've seen bigger waves in my washing machine.
Had similar with Holland America but did some research and it'll take a huge wave to even get a huge ship tossed over. Took some motion sickness pills and watched Cast away. 😂
ROCK N ROLLIN
Had to be the ultimate vomiting fest
People stop crying you payed to get on a ship and no one but Jesus can calm the seas . Just ride it out.
Not for me.........Never has been!!!!
She should be happy she is alive and thankful to the crew who fought hard to save her life. They did not have time to baby talk these ungrateful oafs.
This is how my first cruise was haha

Crusie ships are no longer fun and are very dangerous now its not worth the money
Lol ok. I was 9, in a tropical storm on a carnival in tropical climates...for over 24hrs. I'm sorry that you had to go thru it but ya'll are fine.
Karen
😆🍻
I was in the Navy. Whatever…..
We give the weather all this freedom and Mother Nature acts like we don’t exist. 🥱😐
