There’s no way that I would watch any other CZcamsr’s 48 minute video! I play yours at 1.5 speed and will go back and watch sections again if I need to. I always learn so much from your videos! Thanks so much Rich for sharing your awesome knowledge!
Awesome! Thank you! This was really two videos in one.
Hey mate, Linden in QLD Australia, I bloody love your channel mate, bought a bunch of your stuff from your website. Love the way you present your content too, I have learned a lot from your channel… keep it it, Cheers mate!
Thanks so much for the support Linden! Much appreciated!
THANKS FOR SHARING YOUR EXPEIENCE. VERY HELPFUL
My pleasure Dennis!
You make it look so easy. I always learn something new watching your videos. You should be a teacher you have the demeanor and patience. I don’t know where you find time to do all that you do. Keep up the great work. Always very entertaining and informative.
Wow, thank you John! Always appreciated Sir!
What a great video Rich. I’m sure this will get people interested in trying there hand st makes some of there own artwork. It’s nice of you to get them going on the basics of the lightburn software. Lightburn has so many features that most people never use because they don’t realize how things work. These videos really help. Every time I watch one I pickup a few more tricks you show us. Thanks again for all the time you put into these videos. I’m so happy I found your CZcams videos. Keep them coming buddy. You are truly a blessing.
Wow, thank you Edward! I try and add tips and tricks to each video.
Another FANTASTIC video explaining your design process with Lightburn Watching your videos has taught me so much that I've now started attempting my own designs - still long way to go to get proficient but your teaching has inspired me.
Great to hear that Larry! That's why I do this! 👍
Like the way you take your time to explain/show how you do the things. I really enjoyed how you made the bunny in just minutes. And as always I’m learning from your videos!!
Thanks so much John!😊
Hi Rich. Year later but is good for every year after that at the same time of the year if that make sense. Awesome class as always and great tips. Im working on my Easter Bunny now. Thank you
Great to hear Bob. I have a last minute Easter file video I'll be publishing tonight.
OMG so happy I found your videos so easy to follow along!! Thank you for all you do!! ❤❤
Glad you like them!
Hey Rich, as a newbie to laser engraving I thank you for the solid content! Keep up the great work, I just signed up on your forums. Thanks for having a resource for us new members!
Welcome aboard! And thanks for the support! 👍
Great video thanks for your guidance and thanks for you new library for the M50 atomstack gave me a great starting point for settings, doing glass in now easy. Keep up the great work.
Glad to help Peter! 👍
Excellent tutorial.
Thanks so much Cesar!
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy oh Rich. You don't know how much i have learned with your videos. I have a full sheet diode laser working right now mounted on a Lorwrider cnc and its amazing. Already ordered a complete kit to build a 150w co2 laser (full sheet also)

Awesome! Thank you!
Another good one and topical too. 👍🇬🇧👍
Thanks 👍 I love those topical breezes on my face Tony! 🤪
Very Good Thank You
Welcome 😊
Very good tutorial and video Rich! Thank You. Gayle S.
Glad it was helpful Gayle!
best lightburn vids on you tube
Thanks so much Jim!!
great info
Glad it was helpful Dilip!
Your work is amazing dude
Thank you so much 😀
Always fun, Always informative :)
Thanks again!
if you duplicate the 2nd cross and then ctrl-select the hill before you mirror you won't have to mess with aligning the 3rd cross.
There's more than one way skin a cat Kevin!
Another great video 😁👍
Glad you enjoyed it Malcolm!
There is another way you can do this, but still rich explained it good ,if you select all then right click ,ungroup ,then select the outer area which will highlight, select offset it is the same thing,if you would like me to demon straight give me a showt, either way it will give you results, just giving you another example.
Thanks David! There are several ways to do everything in Lightburn!
Great content as always, thank you. Scary wabbit! 😁
🤪 That's what happens when you don't use a model!
Rich, you could have grouped the ears and then selected the face and weld it all in one operation. But you knew that!
Great video my friend.
Trying to repeat the processes as many times as I can so it sinks in Kris. Repetition creates retention 🤪
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy you are right about that. The other day I was trying to draw a five point faceted star so that every other facet would fill. What a brain burner. I spent about all day trying to figure it out. When I did, I started all over again. Try it. I would love to see how you would do it. It is not as easy to do as it sounds. It would make for a great video.
@@krisknowlton5935 It's all easy once you know how Kris. For that project, I would simply draw the star and then pencil draw the parts I wanted filled on another layer. Easy!
Hi Rich great movie i am a newby too my question is don't you have too refocus before the cutting????
Yes you do. You can turn the cut layer off in the Cuts / Layers, run the job, then turn off the engrave layer and turn on the cut, refocus the laser, and then run the 2nd part of the job.
Great video , covered a lot of what I need. The only thing it not covered for me was when designing the bunny you could see the egg through the bunny's arm.
How would you get around this ?
For this kind of advice, post to my forum Thomas: lahobbyguy.com/bb
Hi Rich. I totally agree with John Diego. Your teaching mode is really very enlightening and helpful. Many thanks. I noticed you drawing the rabbits eyes. No criticism meant - I noticed that it is not easy to draw a shape with curved lines, on Lightburn. Here is my question: There are those Drawing Tablets on the screen of which one could draw freely but also use a ruler and/or a French curve . Such Tablets produce some sort of digital files. Are you familiar with such Tablets? Do you have any knowledge and or experience with them? Do they produce files that can be imported into Lightburn for further processing and burning?. Many thanks. Emanuel
Yes they do! I use the Kamvas 13 tablet: amzn.to/3UTVQJM
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Thanks. I'll look into it. Have you made a video on how to combine designing on a tablet with Lightburn?
I have signed up a membership with patreon just now in appreciation of your good tutorials. Emanuel
Thanks for your support Emanuel! No I haven't made a video on it. All I do is export them as a .png file.
I really enjoy your videos, they provide me with the reviews of the laser machines. I also want to join the forum but i am having a problem logging in. i did send a contact me but i have not got anything back
Hi Robert, send me an email at thelahobbyguy@gmail.com
Have you a video doing slate on a aufero laser 2 how do you prepare 🤔
I don't have an Aufero, but it's the same as any other job Dean.
Fills in more tools. Thanks.
You bet Merrill! 👍
Hello, I am learning so much from your videos. They are amazing. I have been trying to register on the la hobby guy forum but I have not received an email. I understand your doing all of this on your own and you still have a day job. So it might take some time to get back to me. I have sent an email. Then I sent a second one because Im new to all of this. Even the computer. lol Could you give me some guidance or just a note to say you will get to me when you have time. Just want to make sure I did stuff right. Im good with waiting just not sure about what I did or if you got my info. thank you. Punkylee
Hi Sandra, I don't see your email, but I have activated your account! You can login now. Welcome aboard!
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy thank you so much! I'm so excited!
i was designing and used the arrow keys and when i hit theup it jumped why up. i use the key quite often to twik movements. i assume there is a setting for this

I’ve sent 3 emails through the website over the last couple days and don’t know if they are getting through or not. Seems this is the only way zi can communicate with yoy
No, they're not. I'm having a firewall issue. Just email thelahobbyguy@gmail.com
@@TheLouisianaHobbyGuy Rich
Everything is ok with me. I was awaiting a code or something, apparently you registered me and I’m now able to log in and access the forum. Keep up the great work
Thanks

Where did you get the metal mesh for your diode. I ordered a 400x430 one 2 March and still not here.
You mean the honeycomb bed? I've gotten them from Alibaba (takes 8 weeks or so) cheap, or Amazon: amzn.to/3j4jEKh
I guess I still have a few weeks to wait. Ordered on Amazon. Still listed as shipped but contacted shipper and they said not picked up yet. Gofig.
@@merrillalbury8214 I would cancel it and order from another seller. The one I ordered on Amazon arrived in 3 days.
Why would u put it in the middle instead of a corner to save wood for another project
Because I use all of my scraps for earrings, so it doesn't matter where I put it.
how do i download the easter files?
