The 'Here's a Lautrec I would hate Toulouse' line is a flip on the French painter Toulouse-Lautrec. There are probably at least a couple of dozen artist puns and references throughout the track. :)

The Damien Hirst "save on a hoarse" bar is related to his most famous work "The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Someone Living" which is a whole dead shark suspended in formaldehyde.
The amount of flow switches and classical artist references prove how talented The Stupendium truly is. Indeed, one of the best in the discography. Not to mention all the subtle hints for how to avoid a scam on your own island is extra icing on the cake.

and going back to the music, you should notice references among Stupendium's songs about other songs
Between the flows, the characterisation, the word play and puns, and the just overall portrayal and style, I'd say this is one of the best from stupes.
Something people never comment on is how stupes can rap and sing in MULTIPLE accents, let alone English and American. Check out his team fortress rap, most fashionable faction, to hear him rap in German and Australian accents as well

A Stupendium song not many react to is Rip and Tear, a boy band song that is hilarious.
I think the guys who love art are having an orgasm every time they heard this song, because the costumes and wordplay/puns are just amazing
Yeah, Redd isn't exactly....um...trustworthy. In every game he shows up, he's doing something shady and it's hinted at lore wise that Tom Nook was partners with him when Tom first started out in the business world...and Redd left him broke and holding the bag. On top of the Japanese lore of Tanuki not getting along with Kitsune (Tom Nook being a Tanuki, also called a "Raccoon Dog" outside of Japan), there's the fact that game lore wise Redd did Tom dirty and it's why he gives you infinite time to pay him back his loans. There's some vids out there that can explain it better than me if you wanna do a deep dive though.
I should point out that this video has flashes of the earlier two Animal Crossing videos... *because Redd is recording this song on VHS, recording over the previous songs* .
I was just listening to the video while driving in the car, not watching. At around 4:11 my Internet dumped out, and I thought you paused the song to react, and it was the longest silent pause in the history of silent pauses. 😂

So yeah, this is easily my favorite Stupendium track and *nobody* covers it. Some of their best lyric work, great word play and flow. Hard ass beat. Just good shit all around.
