Amazing update UI wise, much beter use of the screen 👏 In Engine 4.1 i’d love to see a “Countdown of bars to the next cue” this seems like a minor but valuable workflow tweak, currently OS gear starts counting bars after passing a cue point 🤷🏻♂️happy to see it already received 80 votes on the feature request forum though

Still no Traktor neither RGB waveforms, but congrats to Engine OS team that keeps bringing valuable updates to Denon and Numark machines.
That's been a feature request on the community for at least 2 years :D I'd also love to see it.

Not a Denon guy but this blows Rekordbox out the water.
Been part of the beta testing on this and the back and forth from the denon team has been nothing short of incredible, they really have worked so hard on this!

The Denon Prime Go is still a solid little controller. This update makes it feel new again. The library search with waveforms helps find the next track when love mixing. Way to go Denon!

Just updated my Mixstream Pro Go and it's actually running a lot smoother. Great update and I can feel the change in performance.
Yeah mine too. Denon is so dope with the updates! Now if only we could get Pioneer to update the S11, I'd be a happy camper!
I love having the performance library on the same screen. I also feel like my streaming apps are loading much faster. Another great improvement Denon. Def reinforced my decision to switch to Denon! Well done!

@@anthonyirving6728 You can clean your channels from the tracks that you are not using. Gives you way more clarity of what's going on.

I am ALLLL About Engine DJ , coming from a new user of a Numark Mixstream Pro Go. I made the transition from Pioneer gear from this and could not be more happy!

A solid update for sure! Was a bit deflated to discover that there is still no beat jump facility for my Mixstream Pro Go. That's all I want!!! Just a rudimentary parameters option in settings would be fine so I can use the pitch bend buttons to action. Ah, a man can dream! Oh and RBG waveforms would also be nice. :)
Don't see why they can't add this for all units, could be easy enough to do onscreen.

I love that we can now see the effect parameters on the main screen! The tiny LCD screens under the knobs are unobtrusive but it's more comfortable seeing them on the big bright main panel.

on the Prime 4 it was never supposed to be on the main screen, it was a glitch why you saw it for a moment, check the enginedj forum.

It's great that Denon keep these updates fairly often, this makes the hardware feeling new and fresh over time. An improved grid analizer and being able to rate a song within the hardware its something that i would like to see in a future update, and of course, stems. I've been using the sc live 4 for a year now and i couldn't be happier!

For stems you need much more Processing Power . You must Go to Prime 4+ If you want stems on a standalone Controller

It does look that way, although to be fair updates to tend to come thick and fast on this platform
I skipped the RX3 and this thing is looking very appealling. I'm almost sure I'll be getting a Prime 4+

Still waiting on them allowing two cues through the headphone. It auto disable the other track in the headphone when you select the next channel.
definitely didnt expect it especially as i received an update yesterday for crossfader echo, definitely quite like the new look...makes my controller feel new again, only thing i dont like is you cant see waveforms behind tracks youre preparing to load and the ui seems to be laggier on my mixstream pro, otherwise. solid.
Let us know if that lag fixes itself

No, we chose the P4+ for this, but it will look similar
I want a “one knob” mode, where it takes all of these new features, bypasses them, and the decks run at their fastest and highest CPU performance , allowing access to minimal features. Like black and white mode on a cell phone to reserve power.
Hopefully they can integrate on the next update the option for rating songs in the prime 4 and not only in the software. Great job denon.👍 👏

The key sync option being on the screen is huge for Numark users. There wasn't a way to key sync on the mixstream prior to this update.

So wish they would add master eq for the all in ones
I also wish we could make the wave form on top bigger. I only see a small preview or the super huge one.

I’ve seen 4 channel controller users saying it’s handy for when you’ve had a track in deck 3 or 4 so it’s not just sat there redundant on the deck until you use it again

I'd love to see song played counter.
The one thing I wish they'd add is the ability to apply effects from both FX1 and FX2 at the same time to the same channel, allowing us to combine effects. You can do this in Serato when using the Prime 4+ in computer mode, but you can't do it in standalone mode. Only one effect can be routed to one channel at a time

Is there a Tidal/Beatport BPM/KEY sort feature in the new update or do you still have to struggle like before? It would be great if you could analyze all songs in one of your playlists 🙂
How did he put the FX visible on the big screen ?? Didn't find the option on my p4+
ill keep on having the same opinion, as long as Memory Cues miss and especially the mem cue countdown function MANY MANY people will not use it, not all music is exacly the same bars, and a countdown can be hugely helpful lots of times

Awesome update. But please add in the Stems feature, please hook up with Virtual DJ to use their program. Also, please fix echo in FX. The only way to shut it off is the change the FX type, which just sounds like a horrible cut off instead if fading out.

I've just found out this new update. I haven't installed it yet.
I like the configurable views. They look great on the Prime 4+, but the four waveform view won't be so neat on the SC Live 4 due to its small screen. The waveformd are too small. I'll try setting four waveforms and two decks instead. I like the feature of bigger text. My favourite is the track eject. I hate the warning message when I eject the USB memory stick: "loaded tracks will eject ..." or something like that 😅 It makes life much easier. On the other hand, I'm a bit disappointed because I expected the Bluetooth out feature to be released in this update. I don't have any DJ or studio speakers. I use the built-in ones that make some weird noises when volume is at half level or above. Bluetooth could give me the chance to connect my controller to the soundbar in my living room. It isn't the ideal situation but it's what I've got at the moment 😅

You're welcome! Point is you can now switch things on and off on the view, which means you can find a smaller screen layout that works for you. And trust me, the bigger font for smaller screens is a huge improvement! I think you may end up not using Bluetooth Out when it arrives - the delay will be too great.
@@digitaldjtips You're right about Bluetooth out. I tried it last year. I sent the master sound from DJUCED to the same soundbar. It sounded like an endless echo. I heard double beats inside my ears due to headphones and the soundbar. It wasn't a good experience but at least I could hear proper highs, mids and bass the place they should be. The latence was about one second. I conform myself with this inconvenience until I can buy some studio speakers. Thanks for your comment, Phil 🙂

Where can we find the sampler? How can we access it on a SC6000? --- Cracked the case - My sampler wasn't loaded yet - It was empty - just had to pick a couple of fine samples. Now it works fine.
THANK GOD.... Because I scratch with the LC controller and trying to see a 1/2" waveform among 4 made it useless.

Thats the prime 4 or 4+ . 4 Chanel and bigger Screen you can tilt . Exactly what you are looking for . The cheaper Version ist the Sc live4 . Cheaper 4 Chanel Controller i don't think that this is possible

One is a controller, one is a standalone. Figure out which of these two types of ways of DJing you prefer and you have your answer.

Engine 4.0 is a great update. However, I still miss being able to give or withdraw a star rating "on the flight". I can do that on the PC version, but I would greatly appreciate it if this function could also be entered on the Denon Prime 4.

Can you rate the songs yet on the prime 4 live while djing or do you STILL need to do that on a PC when you get home if you remember

I just found a feature you missed - I think :) You couldn't hear mixer FX in your headphones in 3.x. They're now back so you can hear your filter/echo/noise/wash in the headphones! YAY!
