Interesting tidbit from Jake Roberts re: The Moondogs. Moondog King was the Moondog that was detained at the U.S./Canadian border. He was from Newfoundland and there was an incident where he couldn't get back into the States. That's when McMahon signed Larry Booker who became the legendary Moondog Spot.
Resurrection of Jake the Snake Roberts is just so important to me. It’s one of the best docos ever. I can’t wait to see more films with Jake in them. He’s a legend.
That POP put chills down my spine! I could only imagine what Jake felt.. what a RUSH!!
Wow.. when he said he still wouldn’t leave with the belt says a lot.. you’re a GOOD man Jake
I love DDT is work perfect for Jake the snake Roberts in wrestling

I love when snake man shits on bill watts lmao
Jakes shop is great! Just got a bad ass Signed photo from Jake a few weeks back! Had him sign the macho snake bite photo! I had him inscribe it, “Let the Venom flow deep within your soul!” It looks so bad ass in neon green paint pen! All you marks out there gotta go buy one!
That is epic, dude! Jake loves his fans.

It’s helping me already I spent my entire day either watching the channel or watching old Jake, the snake promo videos or just him wrestling. I am spinning out of control my life right now, but it’s coming to an end. Yes it is.
Texas Legend, Jake Roberts.
Holy God what a pop
Can't wait
Butch Reed's comments re: Dark Journey were perfect. That's part of why I can't stand some of the modern era (although I still watch it). Everything in 2023 is walking on eggshells. Sometimes you've just gotta call it like it is! lol The reason Butch Reed didn't go further in WWF was because of his own doing. He was scheduled to become the Intercontinental Champion but no-showed more than once, so they put it on Honky Tonk Man instead. That led to Reed's departure.
I luv listening to Jake.
The pops back then just show that the fans of yesterday were infinitely more invested than the fans of today. Today you have to drive a tank over somebody to get that kind of reaction! Part of that has to do with the overproduced presentation of the matches and the overkill that runs through so much of the product nowadays. Less should always mean more in pro wrestling. The AEW fans aren't even comparable. They come off more like an insulated cult as opposed to open-minded wrestling fans. They don't know wrestling the way the people of this era knew wrestling. You can even hear the disappointment re: the current era of "fan" in Jake's voice.
The death of kayfabe has definitely been a double-edged sword. It's great seeing guys like Jake, Undertaker, Arn Anderson, Jim Cornette, and others talk about everything that went on behind the scenes.
But, once the veil was lifted, you just couldn't suspend disbelief anymore.
@@dhornjr1 Amen! That's become painfully apparent every time I watch AEW as of late.
ship to uk please, i want the buddy!!
The Airplane Crash was in 1975 Gary Hart Austin idol Bobby Mcshane slater wasn't in a airplane crash.
You are correct. I do know slater almost dies in a car wreck
@jamie.. correct slater was in a car wreck in Florida I think in the early 80's
Sting got his ass beat for giving Dark Journey a ride iirc after DJ and Slater broke up
Dick had a major car crash. He wasn't on the Gary hart plane crash?? Is Jake OK. Lol
Conrad's 30 fixed mortgage rates are LAUGHABLE
The podcast is getting shorter by the week. After all the ads are cut it's like 30 mins.
About the Stings head in the toilet thing. I do my best to research rumors and not believe them blindly. Cross reference, take into account the credibility of who is saying it, etc.
From what I've gathered the only ones who say it are the ones known to spread false rumors and/or flat out lie. Most of the others just say they heard it. No one actually seen it and Dark Journey, who recently did a shoot interview not so long ago, said that it's all BS. And she was the one there when it went down.
I think this is a case of the story being embellished each time it was told until someone added his head went in the commode. Over multiple tellings someone could have said they were in the bathroom and someone could have said he is lucky Dickie didn't put his head in the toilet to Did you hear Dickie was going to put his head in the toilet to he may have put his head in the toilet to I think Dickie put his head in the toilet to he put his head in the toilet.
That's my theory but who knows. 3 people were involved, 2 have never commented on it and 1 said it didn't happen. So...
Someone has shared the following account:
-Slater punches Sting
-Sting reacts by locking up with Slater
-It is broken up
No heads in the toilet. Sting held his own.
@@miesvaillanykyisyytta3252 Do you know who said that? I think DJ said something similar as well and even added that she thought sting could have taken him but who knows. I'm not a Sting fan boy either just going with what I've researched.
@@josheisert8380 I don't remember who it was.
