Hi. Thanks for the upload. Does the tool destroy the rubber Boot? The width of the bottom jaw of the tool is much smaller than than the width of the boot. So you are forced to hammer the tool in position. Or is there a different way to do it, where you can still reuse the old ball joint if you want to?
Look if you pay attention and use the tool properly you are not going to do any damage. But before placing this special tool to the ball joint, push the boot down with your fingers to make more room for the tool and to fit more easily.

You should have split the Cotter pin in half and bent each end opposite of each other.. that's the correct way to do it... other then that great vid..
