I was playing with my Super Sim last night and discovered two things. First, the Sulani Mana trait is SUPER helpful for evolving the tree. I had a Perfect Quality crystal tree before it was fully grown just by having him do the Gift of Sulani every morning. Also, he's a Spellcaster and both the seeds AND the trees themselves can be multiplied using the Copypasto spell.

Also! You can fish up the gem seed in a little pond in oasis springs I think! The same pond you can fish violins and cow plant berries from!
I also saw a streamer fish one up in Henford on Bagley (the top corner Cordelia lot I think) and another streamer got one in Glimmerbrook(?). I think it was Glimmerbrook.

The crystal tree reminds me a lot of the plasma tree. They look like they could be cut from the same roots.

I went fishing for the first time with my brand new sim in oasis springs Park, at the very back area and pulled up 4 crystal tree seeds in a row. So, fishing there can also get you crystal tree seeds.
Ooo that was fast! Cannot wait to try these :D Although my scientist sim has so many crystals already. It's almost like he is a crystal tree himself. I mean other sims get crystals from him XD
The crystal tree seeds are also available from the rare seed packets you unlock the ability to buy at level 10 Gardening skill.

Also having your sims explore around for gems will help making jewelry cheaper. You won't have to pay for the gems.

I don't know if it's a bug, but as a scientist with the get-to-work for pack, I would gain my crystal skill while experimenting or crafting synthesizer potions.

Do you have a video series about some of the best ways to get your sim in a specific mood? I know some tricks but I’m finding it hard to get enough mood lets to outweigh how many confident moods my sims get from all the growing up boosts now. It’s weirdly annoying. I need more ideas for getting them focused or playful on demand.

So Sunday morning I got crystals, but Monday morning it's nearly 6am and no crystals... is this a bug or is not literally every single day?

my crystal tree is bugged, the crystal is floating and the tree is back to early state, so the crystal cant be harvest, i must put the tree into the family storage so the crystal will auto put in there too 😂 the other plant is bugged too, the fruits was floating but no leaf, but for other plant it still can be normally harvest
Does charging up the Crystal Seed in the moonlight do anything? Because at 1:26 it clearly gives you the option to charge it.
From my understanding (haven't extensively tested) if charged on the grid it then powers it up based on the gem you used to make it, just like if you cut that same gem into other shapes (despite still looking like the crystal seed)

Golden chickens can basically exude an aura that improves the quality of anything around them, like plants and animal products
Golden chickens also lay golden eggs. Feed your sim something cooked with a golden egg and they a dazed mood let for a while and can do a special golden pulse interaction on items that makes them perfect quality.
