  • A documentary film-maker (Shane Meadows) is invited into local woods to meet up with a strange and mysterious nameless man (really Le Donk) that claims to have been living alone in the woods off the fruits of nature for three years. Is this an amazing story or will it just turn out to be a hoax!. A part of 'Shane's World' Four short films and two spoof adverts By Shane Meadow's and starring Paddy Considine.
    This is part 2 of 6 sketches and short films directed and starring Shane Meadows and Paddy Considine, basically them having a bit of a laugh.Shane's world was originally found on disc 2 of the 'Once upon a time in the Midlands' DVD.
    For some reason its barely mentioned anywhere else. and is not even credited on Internet Movie Database.

    I don't think anything Paddy Considine is in could be boring. Anything he is in he's utterly amazing in.

    Absolute genius. Looks like a lot of this stuff was unscripted and they just feed of each other. A great connection between two incredibly talented people. Made me laugh, thank you.

    This is great and inspiring filmmaking! I really loved the performances in My Summer of Love, A Room for Romeo Brass, and Dead Man's Shoes as well. So intense!

    • @WordUnheard
      @WordUnheard Před 7 lety +8

      So much truth in this comment. Have you ever seen Dead Man's Shoes? His performance in that film is better than the majority of all performances by any actor I've ever seen.

    • @david_4739
      @david_4739 Před 7 lety +5

      I certainly have! Stellar performance in that film. And as Morrell in A Room for Romeo Brass. He has got a lot of range to be able to play psychos, clowns and insurance salesmen convincingly. Then he ends up in these weak bit parts in Hollywood. Would be nice to see him in more main roles in British indie films. I think he probably writes more now though. I know he wrote Tyrannosaur - another grim film!
