Okay, so they had this "robot" character three years before the Brian and Charles short, and almost a decade before the feature film. Brilliant.
When Paddy says 'i'm gonna fucking hit you all' you can see him just momentarily get back into that character. Even as a joke he's a brilliant actor.
Dead Man's Shoes is one of my favorite films of all time, and this just made my day... should of give Charles a super Duper Dose.

Yeah, the bit at the end when Charles Petrescu finds his way back to the house is deeply, deeply emotional.
