I like the electric unicycle having both hands free. Very compact you could take it anyway with you just drop it in the trunk of your car. 25 miles per hour is plenty fast for me, don't need to go faster.

TJ website says 96 kph so yeah it is a little faster. The indiegogo says delivery in 2019 so if they deliver the mass produced version, it'll definitely make the next list!

lol, it's not, it's a significantly less powerful board. the Kaly is a 12s board. the Lacroix is a 10s board. it does not have the power, but it does carve easier.

have you ever ridden 12 miles in one go at speed? I mean i have 14, 20, 30 and 40 mile boards, but you generally stop at least once every 10 miles or so. It's not a huge deal.

city people have different needs. You can walk eboards and EUCs into elevators, while bikes have to be locked up on the street. For more expensive stuff, this is a big deal.

I can build any one of these toys for under $200. with a little know how and Battery operated power drill from your local hardware store you can easily put something like any of these things together....so why are they $3000? I understand mark up for profit but at best it costs $350 to build the best of these. so why the 110% mark up in cost for the cheapest of these?
Which one are you referring to? Because lots of these products contain battery cells from Sanyo or Samsung which are very well known to the industry as to how much they cost. Additionally, if you weren't a huge manufacturer buying in bulk, where could you buy a carbon fibre mountain board, without electronics, for 200$? I know these companies charge a markup but for the raw parts you get I feel saying its 200$ is a little exaggerated. Not trying to be mean, just looking for where you're coming from
