living in the south of sweden in a small village with a population of ca 300 people, most of them are seniors and never leave their homes or even go outside. there are nothing but farmland and forrests for miles around. this is pretty much what i hear every day. just the occantional train passing by in the distance.
it is an amazing feeling to take a walk around the village when it is dark or at night and the whole village seems abandoned and you are all alone.

Now this is what i would hear and see right after ww3 happened. Just howling wind and nothing else for weeks or months.
I would become the first ghoul and live for 300 or 400 years. Untill my alarm clock goes and i wakeup from a dream or nightmare.

I would love to see similar areas in incoming fallout games..ground zero where everything is dead,you got to see the devastation all arround you in the world but it had some time to "heal"..but in the glowing sea it's been the same for two hundred years..like it was frozen it time
the glowing sea is in a state where it may never actually heal, hell Chernobyl in real life will take about 3,000 fucking years (no joke) to ever be safe again
imagine how long it would take for something like the Glowing Sea to heal

@@thestargazer679 Considering the nuclear reactors blown up, the Chinese bomb that's powerful enough to create mountains (it looks like a Tsar Bomba type bomb) and the nuclear silos in the region, I'd give it like, 200K to 2M years to cure.

Dude, I just got to this section of the game. I honestly thought the checkered border on the map was the hard point where you couldn't go further in that direction. It took me 2 days of gameplay for me to get there because I was just wandering around, doing stuff. Well - this changes EVERYTHING I thought about the map's quality. I didn't think they went extreme enough with the devastation, but damn. I was wrong.

Time spans never ending because there is no one left to count it, to worry about It, there is nowhere to be because there is nothing left, but the carcases of everything that once was. Earth is there, but no life to be found, humanity killed itself, just as It was known to happen, sadest thing is, everyone knew, yet no one did anything.
