Wombats are great animals! Beside the fact that Australia has some scary animals they also have some of the most beautiful species😍 Like it very much! Great video🙌🏼
@@Walleyedwosaik i’m sorry for your grandfather’s loss of limb but what on earth was he doing to be in a situation where a wombat would bite him that badly 💀
Had the opportunity to fondle a wombat at the Metro Zoo in Toronto. Got there just after it opened for the day, to see the new Australian exhibit. Dying to see the Tasmanian Devils, we hit the Aussie pavilion. The keeper was just letting the wombats into their display and she invited my friend and I in. What a wonderful animal. Sunk my fingers into his fur as suggested by the keeper. So much like a plush toy would feel, the fur was amazingly soft and the wombat was making “happy noises” as I scratched his back. Unforgettable experience. Large bricks with fur and personality. 🇨🇦🖖🏻🇨🇦
I love Wombats, they are adorable, so cute, and loveable, you gotta love them.... All animal's and insects are the best, and you should love and care about all creatures large and small...🙂🙃🙂😍❤
2 things I did not know about the wombat.1 is there pouches backwards that make sense.2 that their poop is square now that's funny. Thank you for sharing this video I learn something again.😁
Contrary to what the commentator says, wombats are not 'cute'. Neither are Koalas. Both will not allow humans to interfere in their lives unless they are babies and their mothers have been killed in roads.
I LOVE them!! Thanks for the great video. Favorite part: Mom eating grass while baby eats grass from her hind-side. So unusual! But as big as a large dog?! 🐶😳😍
@@thegreencompany2101 Yes! They do look small in the video. I must have been associating them with American groundhogs, or pics. And I think the person petting one...was probably petting a juvenile, which contributed to that impression.
Unfortunately wombats and roads are not a good combination. In the parts of the country populated by wombats their bloated carcasses are a very common sight along the roadways. They eat at night and can be hard to see in the dark. They are very dense (physically and intellectually) animals and hitting a big one is like crashing into a load of bricks.
My late husband and I went fishing at a lake that had some bushes at the edge of the lake. Most of the lake didn't have bushes but we chose this spot to have some shade. As we were hauling stuff from the car, I told my husband that I wanted my chair in the sun because I didn't want to be attacked by wombats. My husband laughed and said, "There is no such thing as wombats!" "If you say so." I told him. He laughed off and on but kept turning around to look in the bushes when he thought I wasn't looking. I had sunglasses on but I was definitely looking. After a while he said that he had never heard of a wombat and demanded I describe what they look like. We lived in Colorado and obviously I had not seen one. I also didn't remember anything about them at the time. So, I challenged him that when we got home we would look a wombat up in a dictionary or go to the library. (Yes, I am old and this was before internet and cell phones were popular!) If I made it up, I had to give him twice daily massages for a month and $100. Or just $100 to me if it was real. He thought I was bluffing, so he agreed to bet. The entire time we were at the lake, I started to doubt more and more whether a wombat existed because I couldn't remember anything about them. We were avid book readers, so it might be a fictional creature for all I knew that day. It is fun learning something new from someone who reads a lot. Sharing stories and challenges is fun when playing Scrabble or everyday teasing. We laughed about wombats for a long time.
They are so cute but when they get in their teenage years they get aggressive. I use to help care for wombat's at a local zoo. There was hundreds of wildlife I helped care for. It was part of a mental health problem I was part of.

Capywoms?
I can see that.
@@cheshkat6321 😇
You left out the fact that they have very thick skin on their behinds, so they can defend their burrows from predators with their butts.
God: so how did you die?

Minecraft poop block farm.
😀👍
Wombat rear is so solid they use it to block their tunnel from predator, the predator will try to bite then abandon
They are so cute esp. with the baby in back! And square poop!
