when i was a young lad we would all get the 36 red bus from leeds up to harewood castle It was all open in them days, we would spend all day climbing all over that castle. There was or maybe still is a spiral staircase in the corner takes you all the way up to the top of the main wall there was one route also were you could climb right up to the remaining turret. if you dare got up there it was a great view . them were the days, it sure beat the hell out of playing with a mobile phone… mid 70s….
Good bit of information you said about the place going bankrupt. Be an amazing nice place back in the day when last occupied in 1656 thanks for letting us see 👀 👍👍
Amazing! What an awesome piece of history. Its impressive now so I cant imagine what it looked like when it was inhabited. I cant even imagine the number of staff it would have taken to run this place. Good video. Well done!
Yeah it would of been a very impressive castle back in it's day. It's nice to just sit there and imagine how it used to be it's so peaceful I could sit there all day. Thank you for your kind comment it's always appreciated.
