Great movie..As a norwegian i'm proud of this scenery. Glad you guys enjoyed it...😊🇳🇴
Oh wow, thank you 😊
As I watch movies about Norway, because I am planning my trip, I see a lot of them. But this is one of the best!!!
Wow, thank you so much. Have a great trip, Norway is fantastic!
I still find it baffling that the newcastle to Norway ferry was stopped as not being profitable
Sad isn’t it. And all the ones to Germany! And the one we took from Germany went bust, so it’s back to having to ride all the way up through Denmark to get one to Kristiansand. So from hook of Holland, basically two days of flat riding to get there… still worth it mind! 😀
Very entertaining video, well done!
Absolutely stunning scenery!! Thank you for sharing! We've subscribed!
Cheers - and thanks for the sub 😀👍
looks great im going in july can't wait was loverly to watch
Enjoy mate, it’s epic! 😀👍
Excellent video, really enjoyed that, well done guys. Where did you get the ferry from in Germany to Norway?
From Emden - but unfortunately Holland Norway lines have gone bust so it is no more. Only route now is from Hamburg or Hirtshals.
After 4 trips from uk to Norway on 3 different R1200 boxers ( No GS version ) seeing many of your roads and tourist 'must see' I leave for home each time knowing I have again missed so much more that needs adding to a 'next visit list'.
Laerdal tunnel and the top route overpass always needs another trip, the ferry to Lote, Fv698 to Solberg Panorama view route is worth the time from Forde and Stryn, thanks for posting and making trip 5 a possibility.
Thank mate! 😀 Was only my second time and first time on a bike. Will definitely be back!
Great movie of Norway trip.
Thanks mate. Positive comments make all the editing time worthwhile!
And the editing did the movie fantastic. I have traveled with my Harley on many of your places so it was nice to see. I do not film I do only take pictures.
I think you have the best recordings I have seen
Thanks mate 🙏 😀 Please like and subscribe!
Hi, I was at the lakeside camp at the same time as you. It rained a little, but otherwise it was great there, I enjoyed it a lot. I just wanted to say hello.😊😊😊
👍 Hello! What bike were you on?
Great video we r heading from n.ireland 2 Norway next June just wondering did u download an app for the ferry crossings and the toll gravel Road as we intend 2 do some of the tet
No just paid as we went. They’re not expensive and all take contactless payment so it was very easy. I thought it confusing trying to work out how to get an account before we went as they’re are a few operators. Maybe it’s a bit cheaper, but it really is easy just to pay as you go. The toll road had a clear sign we took a picture of and you just paid online within 24 hrs - easy and all in English. Have a great trip - it really is epic! 👍
Its an great scenery! I am maybe also going next year. But i was asking myself in what time of the year did you go. Greetings from Holland!
We went late June, no snow on the pass roads. I mean you have to be lucky with the weather at any time, but there weren’t any midges at that time at least.
Awesome
👍👏👏👏👏✌️🇪🇦
Good video. What time of the year you did that trip? (dates) thanks
Cheers🍻 Middle two weeks of June. We were proper lucky with a heatwave!
Have you still got the gpx files for this trip ? If so I’ll love to have them from you if you don’t mind
Travel times?
Wow! Wow! Wow!
How the hell do you go about planning something like this
It certainly is a lot of work! Ferry schedules from UK dictated how long the trip could be vs annual leave and we were lucky that they worked in a way that gave us enough days in Norway for a decent trip. Then I used guidebooks, Google maps/street view and a few online guides to mark highlights as waypoints then join them up. I initially figured on daily mileages how far we could get in the days we had, then planned routes from there. The you just have to be lucky with the weather and we were!! 😀
Do you have an Instagram account
@@thebearfacedbiker fair play to you. Really was a great watch, and the audio was spot on too, really suited it.
Thanks mate 👍 I’m afraid not, I don’t really get insta, probably too old 😂 Just Facebook facebook.com/TheBareFacedBiker

Hi, which month was this tour and how was the temperature at snowed areas?
Hi, this was June and last year there was a heatwave - 30 degrees sometimes which is unusual. In the snow at higher ground it was still warm, 15-20 degrees. You just have to be lucky!
Thanks a lot, we planned for this June almost same times keep fingers cross
Have a great trip! Norway is so epic ❤️enjoy!
@@thebearfacedbiker thanks mate
Anyone counted how many times he said Nice? 😂
Nice! 👌
hi may i know which ferry company u travel from eemshaven to kristiansand?we r coming on june 2024!need yr advice tqvm
It was Holland-Norway Lines but I think they went out of business last year. Riding up through Denmark to Hirtshals may now be your only option…
mates tqvm for yr good infor tq@@thebearfacedbiker
What do you need to fly a drone in Norway?
You need to register with their aviation authority which was easy enough online and gives an operator ID to put on the drone. I think you had to confirm that you have insurance too, then follow their flight restriction zones/maps which are all online. Search on CZcams - there’s a vid that goes through the Norwegian rules and where you can find the restriction maps and stuff. All pretty straightforward for drone under 250g
Thank you 🙏
How much was that ferry crossing to Norway?
650 Euros return. Obviously too cheap as they’ve gone bust 😢 You now have to ride to the top of Denmark or go across to Kiel to get an Oslo ferry. Either take a fair bit longer!
