  • Can you imagine the old timers people actually live underground?
To escape temperatures that often climb to 52 °C during the hottest three to four months of the year, people here build their homes below ground. Coober Pedy’s underground homes, churches, including hotels, have become tourist attraction.
Yes, we're still going on with my old EH. No improved condition. We still have no fridge, no air-con, no bedding set up, but we made it to South Australia all the way from Perth!
Will you drive across the country with primitive set up like us??

Anybody can cross Australia in a late model ute and caravan. But crossing Straya in an old Holden is a completely different adventure. I'm doing my 15th adventure to Straya and you blokes are an inspiration that shows the fun in adventuring throughout Straya.
    GOOD ON YA COBBY.😂

@@summa-daze I didn't see it struggle all that bad really , and considered it job done well by you and your dad too, as compared to modern cars you had to drive these cars from column shift gears to no power steering or air conditioning, she makes it just fine with none of that 🧐
