I'm not an online content creator, but I watch several of these YT modelers channels, and many times I am tempted to get the same kits I see built. So, I just ordered the Custom Cruiser kit, to do my own version.

Great video and introduction into the USACC group build. I too prefer the panel to the truck. It's just so different with so any more ways you can go with the build. Good luck with your build and I'll be watching for updates. Take care!!

Double check the dash decal, the one's in the newer release, purple truck are printed upside down

I agree on the 1/24 scale comment. I wish all US kits were 1/24, for consistency if nothing else.

I can't really tell much difference between them. Not as noticlble as 1/32 vs. 1/35 in military vehicle kits.
I thought it had to be a monogram kit
Monogram was taken over by Revell, so you have several of the old Monogram kits that were reissued as Revell-Monogram kits, and later they dumped the Monogram name, and the kits were issued as Revell kits. But it is the exact same kit, except for the box. The key here are the 1/24 scale, that shows its a Monogram kit, and as I mention in the video, this kit is without a doubt a Monogram kit for me....
It's sad to see how this hobby has declined, if it doesn't have a screen. So many kids aren't interested.
Many younger modelers are into the Gundam thing. Not my field of interest. Been building models gor 50+ years.
I kept trying to get my son into the hobby. After about a dozen kits, I took him to our first model kit show...I was somewhat let down because of the 20 tables, there was half a table that had 5 cars on it, all the rest was armor kits. His face lit up, and at that point, we both figured out what he wanted to and has continued to build. But yeah electronic devices are difficult to compete against, with kids nowadays.
Yeah its difficult to get the kids interested in modelbuilding, but I still think that the tables will turn at some point... I hope
