This is, by FAR, THE BEST ‘how to magic patterns’ tutorial I have ever seen. 🤯 I’ve always had a habit modifying quilt patterns and the rabbit hole of quilters math that comes with that, but now you are tempting me with your witchcraft to modify all the things! I see a future cycle of inspiration followed by frustration and then delighted success!!!!!! Sharing this to all my sewing groups!

This is a crazy helpful video. I've seen many that talk about slash and spread but no one goes into the permutations like you do. Thank you! This is going to be the go to on pattern alterations for me!

Glad I could help. I usually do this presentation in person at cons, but i thought it was time for the world to see it! It is such a useful method.

I am so happy you enjoyed! I love when people see how easy it is to take a pattern you already have and make it into something new.

I use a broken wooden chopstick for getting that stuffing firm and an invisible ladder stitch to close the hole. I am currently binge watching your channel since I just found it today lol you have so many helpful tips, thank you.

I took your class on Creative Fabrica and I learned so much. I like the way you explain what you are doing. I am hoping you will host a 2nd class that will show pant drawing in illustrator. Thank you so much.

They say a picture is worth a thoughsand words.. so is a video Thank you! I've had numerous people describe and fly through how to do this and not one word actually stuck in my brain, and left me very confused and I simply just walked away. I really feel like I can do this, and maybe get my husband some clothes that fit! They don't make Large patterns for men, that fit him, and he has "design" ideas, heaven help me, Sci fi is his thing. I've always felt you should be able to take a pattern and mess with it until you get what you want.. and this is a lot closer than anything I've tried to wrap my head around. Yay!! who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

Thank you so much for this really useful & informative video, the best explanation I have ever seen or been heard... but! Please may I ask if you could/or will be making a 2nd video to show how to make horizontal changes like making a rouch, neck pleated gather etc.
Thank you again for your super video, both this one & as a "Newbie" all the other interesting looking videos that I can tell I'll be watching in a day & coming back again & again 😀
