Yes it is. I can garanter none of theese protesters will disappear for ever. Biden will not send out mobs on motorcycles with machinguns to kill the protesters. The police will not torture the protesters with electricity, not even of they support a professor who in classroom said the murder of children, babies and elderly was awsome,and incredible.
But when you are protesting and when you are using your democratic rights you have to follow the rules. You can not occupy private property. You can not either harras nor threat other people.
Blocking access to buildings or setting up encampments is illegal in the US as is intimidation.

No, there where protest when Universities where invested in South Africa. Some University removed hundreds of millions of dollar in investments from South Africa. However, this is different many rich donors to the Universities are very Pro-Israel so we seeing very powerful fight playout.

Yes for a short period of time the middle east was under colonial rule, after the fall of the Ottoman Empire. But that does not mean that the muftin in palestine, a lot of other religious and political leaders did not support the Nazis. It is well documented. There was also a big increase in antisemitism in the 1930th. The situation for the jewish citizens were better during the Ottomans even if they were second class citizens. There were no progroms.

Many people lost there live in Middle East. 85,000 Houthi children starve to death. Over 250,000 lost their lives in Syrian Civil War. Thousand have been arrest or eliminated in Iran for protesting the death of women at the hands of the religious police in Tehran. Let not forget the Kurds that have been decimated by the Turks, and Persians.
