- We are going to show you how to delete your EGR on a 22R (Carbureted), in this video we also installed a Weber Carb and deleted all sensors and vacuum lines that you would not need with a Weber Carb.
We will be addressing the Air Injection Deletion in another video.

I’ve never seen a tutorial for vehicles, be so straightforward! This should be the standard to tutorials.
Really wish I watched this before doing my weber 32/36 install yesterday would’ve made things way easier!

@@LC_Engineering i have a webwr 32/36 on my 22r. do i need the bvsv? if not what do i do with it?
@@MrDarkoKos Give us a call 877-505-2501 we would be glad to assist you on this.
Thank you
Well I just bought everything in this video but a carb with a manual choke
Hi, is there any downside to deleting the EGR and vacuum lines other than emissions? I installed a Weber carb and I currently have the ends of the lines plugged but the vacuum lines are cluttering up the engine bay and I'd like to get rid of them altogether if theyre unnecessary (obviously the one going to the distributor and the brake booster is vital)
Give us a call 877-505-2501 we would love to help you out.
Can we talk about 22r Weber install with Electric Choke. The stoke electric choke clip does not supply 12v of power. Mine is close to 4v which is not enough. The lore is that most setup it off the spare out on the Alternator. My alternator has 12v's all the time though. Which means my electric choke would always be on? I can not for the life of me find a plug (Green) out let plug that has a 12v send when key in activated. I feel like this is a very very very common issues when installing a weber. maybe you (LCE) could put some information forward about this much needed explanation for a easy conversion. - Also, stock 22r 2x2. Will this run without a fuel pressure gauge and just directly hook to your fuel pump like I also see a lot in pictures?
thank you!
Would you recommend keeping the PCV due to carbon buildup? An does the kit include the vaccum line plugs? I’m putting a completely rebuild 22r in my 1990 2wd
"Yes under normal circumstances. The kit will not come with the small caps as there are too many versions offered and no way to tell how many caps will be needed from one vehicle to the next. They should be able to be purchased at your local hardware store like "Ace Hardware" and are relatively inexpensive."
do you have to swapp out the throttle cable connection on the carburetor for a different one so the cable can work
No the stock cable will work. The Weber carb kits we sell come with linkage adapters to make the installation as easy as possible.
Part number 1016038 doesn't show up in your website? Is there a new part number?
Unfortunately it is a discontinued part.
how well does that work at - 30 c ?
Do you have a part number to replace the EGR cooler plate on the back of the head on a 22r?
Not at this time. We do apologize.
So where did you connect the brake buster vacuum hose ?
The brake booster stays hooked up to the factory location on the intake manifold. If they are using an Offenhauser manifold the fitting will need to be removed from the old manifold and threaded into the Offenhauser.
Is it safe to cap off the vacuum advance port on the weber 32/36? I dont have vacuum advance on my distributor..
Yes.
And so far these parts are not fitting upon a 22r. The throttle lever seems to not fit into the carb at all and is not in the right place. Crazy how different things can be
Probably late but there should be a spacer for it to raise it up… only issue I ran into is one of the bolts they supplied was too short with the spacer so I had to go to my local hardware store and match the thread pitch and got a longer bolt and it worked flawlessly
Did you already replace the intake with the offenheiser what not that ya sell
Not on this video.
What about the exhaust manifold side that goes to the egr?
That's the air injection system. You can buy a plate for that too
Correct, they are here: www.lceperformance.com/Air-Injection-Block-Plate-Kit-22R-RE-p/1045014.htm
May want to watch this at half speed. Just sayin.
We are working on getting the videos updated that are older.
