At the beginning of the livestream, Dom was super unenthusiastic because his hopes were so low. It was incredible to see his hope steadily rise up throughout the entire stream and towards the incredible finish!

This tiebreaker game was one of the most physically stressful games I've seen of league of legends because perkz literally forgot he wasn't eu and was consistently carrying and then immediately inting so he had to carry again. It was a vicious (albeit hilarious and very c9) cycle.

People always thinks Dom hates NA. He does but it's because he loves the region so much. I finally get that lol I always thought he was just a toxic personality but in reality he's just one of the most passionate fans we have. I always get so mad when NA loses that I have to not watch, but Dom powers through and gets furious. Respect to you good sir. One of my favorite NA personalities now and I appreciate what you do a lot more.
Him being part of C9 helps a lot for him to be that happy, pretty sure if it was TSM who does the miracle run he wouldnt be nowhere near as happy as he was.

Ah, yes. The yearly emotional roller coaster that is NA(particularly C9) at Worlds. It's not one of those new smooth hydraulic roller coasters either. It's one of the old rickety wooden coasters that shakes you around violently throughout the whole ride nearly giving you whiplash.
Rest easy C9 fans!! The Worlds gaming chairs have clouds on them so it is in the script this year!! C9 wins Worlds!!!!!

As an EU fan i rooted for Perkz. Leaves G2, G2 doesn't qualify for worlds and C9 makes it past the group of death. Perkz is just a winner man

@@billyjoe8185 C9 making it out of groups isn’t anything new. If TL had advanced and we had literally anyone else do it alongside them, that would have been history. Being matched up with GenG reminds me of 2018, when C9 got Afreeca. That’s what gives me hope.

Its funny, considering many in the west wanted them to throw so C9 made it out and FPX failed, yet they went tryhard mode for their friend. Like damn
At this point the entire DK squad probably feels sympathy for Nuguri with how his team played at Worlds, they were expecting a tense, exciting match vs FPX in the Groups, not NA Tian sprinting it on J4 and DoinB not showing up.

Sad for Rogue, but the better team won that day, no question. It was just kind of sad to see Rogue shoot themselves in the foot with that Jhin pick for Hans at the end after Perkz had already locked Leblanc. if he had had Trist or even Ezreal, he might have actually 1v9ed. I feel if anything these players need a change in coaching/support staff to help improve their mental bc from some of the interviews ive see they appear to get affected by just bad practice alone pretty heavily
picking olaf was also a mistake. Rogue always hypes eu up, just to let them down. Been choking for a while now, but atleast they dont need much to change to improve as a team. Hope they will find more sucess next year

Perkz is finally the uncontested GOAT of the West.
We saw it this year. With Perkz in the mid and no Caps, G2 were semifinalists; with both of them, they were finalists and semifinalists, but without Perkz, G2 don't even qualify for Worlds. He was irreplaceable in G2, and without the doubt the greatest player that ever came from EU.

@@willmollard9078 Perkz was the reason G2 didn't go to worlds though. He was so much more than just a player, and so much more than Caps was. And sure, Caps makes finals the first year, but let's not rewrite history. FNC had Rekkles smurfing all over EDG, then got C9 where while Caps did well, was a massive team diff across the board. Meanwhile, Perkz carries fucking Hjarnan past Uzi and only lose to the same team that beat FNC.
So to make it clear, Caps' bad play wasn't the reason why G2 didn't go to worlds. But he also didn't play well enough to get them to worlds. By Caps standards, he wasn't very good, and far from where he were the previous couple of years. He also couldn't make up for what they lost when Perkz left because he wanted to play mid. I am wholly convinced that if Perkz stays, and Caps go to C9, you'd see G2 at worlds and C9 lose to EG in playoffs. Caps is more individually skilled than Perkz, but Perkz brings so much more to a team than just laning.
Quick note that Caps didn't make finals in his first year, his first year was that 2017 Fnatic Miracle Run to get out of groups... only to meet Uzi in quarters

Watching the Rogue vs C9 game tiebreaker was the most stressful game I think I have watched. I am not a fan of either teams and I don't watch na as well but I was still so happy when C9 won watching Dom's reaction as well
