    As a big boy 275 of love, I roll 50 on top, 180-190 on bottom. As a long time MTBer these chamber can leak air, but alot of folks forget that it looks like a leak when you re-connect the pump and it has to fill the empty air in the pump up until the gauge. It is enough to make it look like a leak. Love the vid.

    Hey George! Great video and thanks for doing this , it really helped.
    I’m about 200 pounds and I like 40 up top and 100 on the bottom. The lower pressure is so much smoother and I would not have figured that out without you! Super helpful! Peace from nyc

    Glad I watched.I was not releasing the pressure from the pump before removing it. I often heard a hissing sound on removing it. I thought it was coming from the system but might be just the pump's pressure.

    • @GoGeorge
      @GoGeorge  Před 3 lety +1

      Yeah could have been from the hose , but it could have also still engaged the valve if there was pressure in the hose so its hsrs to say. Best to just bleed it and confirm no hiss! Glad the video helped!

    Nice, I just ordered the pump shown in your video. The one my v11 had included does not have that chamber to seal the air in when taking off the nozzle. Love the V11. Im 180lbs, To account for loss of air with the inmotion pump, bottom is 150 and top is 100 (hoping in theory it settled down to 130/ 75 psi accounting for air loss when taking of the inmotion pump). My tire is at 28psi, but just pumped it to 30 to see how that feels. I could lower the pressure a bit more to get a better cushioned ride without riding gear, but with riding gear on and 10-15 lbs in my back pack, the prssure i have seems to do the trick.

    I gotta get more time on the v11, so far I've only rode it twice. Its way different coming from a kingsong 14D. I'm just on thr recommended settings currently. 50 up top and 120 on the bottom, could try a lil less maybe, it still feels a lil stiff coming down curbs.

  • @davidhopkins
    @davidhopkins Před 3 lety +1

    What was the pressure suggested to you from the manual? You did not cover getting at the upper chamber. I found it very difficult to get the sides on and off. I managed to break one of the screws that hold the side panels in place.

    • @GoGeorge
      @GoGeorge  Před 3 lety +1

      oof, that stinks. I show how to remove the saddle in another video so i skipped over it on this one. probably should have included a reminder for people. Its just held on by 4 screws, the 2 on the side of the machine, and the 2 on either end of the top. the whole black piece slides right up and out once the screws are taken out. once pressures are adjusted, it should slide right back in place. if it doesnt fit quite right try switching the panels , you may have swapped them by accident after removing them

    Hey George,
    I have a v11 and all of a sudden I'm losing air pressure in the suspension system. I believe it's the lower chamber but not exactly sure. Is this common for the v11? I have to fill it every time I ride. Any idea on how to fix my problem?

      For what it worth: There is a small golden tool that came with the wheel. It helps to tighten the valve core.
      I realized that after changing my shocks. The stock ones weren’t actually leaking (just not tightened enough).

      You want to try it a little high to start i think, it will be easier ti learn to mount if its a little stiff. But once you get used to it, i really like 30 top 90 bottom for road riding, but if your going to pound offroad, i like 140 on the bottom

    • @GoGeorge

      I know i struggle with the balance. Unfortunately to not allow the swearing eliminates 90% of the entertaining shots. I tried to keep it PG but i failed to grasp the essence of the rides and editing out the swears turns it into a choppy mess. Although according to my analytics from CZcams, its actually not really as much of an issue as you may think. 97% of my viewers are males age 25-50 . So i need to really cater to that audience. So im embracing the swearing a little bit but still will not include anything to vulgar as thats not what the channel is about
