Honestly bringing your stuffed animal IS ABSOLUTELY priorities. I'm saving my whole backpack for my stuffed hippo when I leave to Japan. I would also have to fit my laptop and everything else I need on the plane in my small carry on luggage because priorities

Yes! You need someone to cuddle for emotional support. I’m going to vacuum pack my panda so he doesn’t take up too much space in my suitcase.

Hi Everyone, I made a mistake in 4:17
    It was meant to be ¥200,000 (~USD 2000) ; ¥300,000 (~USD 3000) or ¥100,000 (~USD 1000)
    and for 4:29, it is ¥200,000 (~USD 2000) !! Not ¥20, 000
Sorry for the wrong information 🥺🥺

You totally need to be mentally prepared, I came to Japan hon I was not in a good place mentally no I had the worst time, it could've gone much better if I had been prepared to face the challenges of living in a new country

the stuffed animal / bolster is 100% required 😭I used my bolster since like 5 and 7 and cant sleep without them ( it was two separate bolsters but later on got surgically mixed together when I was something like 11 )

My problem with buying things there is that my size is probably not there 😅 im a medium- large in American sizes and an 8-10 in pants which would be considered HUGE in japan so idk 😭

I'd be cautious about not packing much clothing if you are not a petite person. Clothes for Japanese women don't necessarily fit the European or Western body type or if you are curvy. I'd recommend creating a good quality capsule wardrobe (lots of CZcams info on that available) for the season(s) that you will be in Japan. Do your due diligence and research the climate in your area of the country. Then plan and pack accordingly.
Also, when choosing footwear keep in mind that you will be doing a great deal of walking. Plan for comfort. I like boots that look great with pants or skirts. Also plan for footwear that is easy to slip in and out of as you will be taking them off to go into many restaurants, businesses, schools and into any homes you may enter.
I'd give the stuffed animal(s) a miss as I am not a child; however, if it floats your boat do what you like. But Japan has so much cute crap you can buy it there if you must. If it's emotional balance you need, I'd establish a solid meditation practice before relying on a stuffy toy.
