Surprisingly I’ve actually found a few good things on Amazon!! Statistically it’s like 2/10 but still hahaha gotta go for the basics and read all the reviews… and pray 😂
My best purchase was a bathtub caddie that sits on top of the bathtub so you can have a candle burning, or read a book. I purchased mine from BB&B. The worst purchase was a battery operated "good for arthritic hands" can opener from Amazon. Works fine until it finishes opening the can, then it's 'jaws of life' won't release. If you have trouble with traditional can openers, buy and electric one that sits on on the counter!
Every kid in Denmark has that high chair and we use it until our legs are literally too long for the spaciest setting 😂 I think I had mine as a desk chair into middle school 🙃 Maybe try it on your other child? Add a cushion? Save it for when they’re a little older and use as a desk chair? Don’t give up on this Scandinavian staple just yet!!!
I thought about getting the cushion but I just felt crazy spending MORE money when the chair already cost over $300! And then to buy a cushion that will just get dirty! Ugh
This is my favorite type of video from you! My best purchase was the lululemon belt bag that you recommended on IG and the worst purchase was square toe white leather boots that were pricey because I don’t think I like square toe anymore!
thank you for your comment, this is super helpful for me when I'm planning videos! These are my favorite to film too! OMG I love the belt bag! So glad we can share in its joy haha
Totally agree with you on amazon clothing. Influencers are always promoting it and I haven't found a single good thing yet! My best purchase has been a denim shacket from Abercrombie....I am in LOVE with it.
Love the video. I see a few people mentioned the swoosh , it didn’t bother me at all. I had to go back to the video and rewatch a little to listen to it.
I am an interior designer and unfortunately substantial delays on furniture and upholstery are industry wide right now. We are seeing lead times on pieces that are longer than our originally estimated time frame for completion on some projects. It's super frustrating but it is out of designer, retailer, wholesaler and consumer hands as everyone is being affected. 😫
Air Fryer is a game changer. Fast forward a “few” years and your teen/tween will be heating up those nuggets and fries for themselves 😉 We also bought a new Ford Explorer this year! In fact, it’s my third one 😆😆 My prerequisite was the captain’s chairs also. Better space and more comfortable for said teen/tween.
Me: *comes to the comments to find out if someone else edited the video cuz the swooshes are nottt it* …Yup. I knew it! This is not Carly’s usual style/quality
My best purchase of the year has been dumbbells because it’s saving money on a gym membership. Worst purchase is probably a pair of shoes with the only reason being I haven’t worn them yet lol
I never saw the point of expensive high chairs since kids don't use them that long. We loved the Fisher Price space saver chair that sat on top of a regular kitchen chair. It's only $50. We just donated it afterwards.
we figured he'd use it for years and we could also give it to our siblings who are also having babies. We share between families! But I agree, some of the classic, less expensive chairs are just as great [if not better!] We ended up going with a graco chair that he loves way more!
@@marabookstagram it’s not weird. Every family is different. I personally liked that this chair could always put her at the right height for the table as well as proper foot support. Both are important for comfort and success while eating. She doesn’t get as wiggly and impatient as kids I see sometimes in too big/too low chairs etc. But every kid and family is different.
Aw we love the stokke high chair. My son loves it and we bought a second chair for my daughter. That’s a very expensive high chair - too and it didn’t work out.
Save the trip trapp. As your kids get older they may like it. I have two and my older one is old enough to not use the baby seat anymore. Very convenient, better looking than a booster and more flexible seating positions
I have gotten some of the ugliest polyester tops from Amazon. I buy clothing on eBay. You can buy just from people from the United States. I bought an air fryer. I think I’ve used it two or three times. My granddaughter wanted one. So I told her she could have the one don’t use. That’s taking up a lot of cabinet space. I ordered a Dyson vacuum, finally. My husband is very cheap and didn’t want to spend the money. It will be here tomorrow. And I’m giving my cheap vacuum to my other granddaughter for her to use. She had a roommate and it didn’t work out. And she had the vacuum, so it’s working out great for everyone.
I have made a lot of poor purchases this year in the furniture department... consistently forget to check dimensions or read reviews and currently have some VERY LARGE dining room chairs sitting in my living room that do not, at all, fit my table. Did the same thing with a bedside table... slow learning curve. Yaay Sony cameras!
hahaha I also bought horrible dining chairs in our last house and Cody promptly sold them [at a loss] and has not let me live them down!! and Team Sony!
thank you for telling me! I actually tried an editor out for this video because the time it takes me to edit my videos takes too long / I'd rather focus on filming more [always trying to figure out where I can save time with having kids] so it's helpful to hear
I bought the Nectar mattress this year and I find it so comfortable but my boyfriend thinks it is awful and gives him back pain! His problem with it is that it is not firm enough though.
I bought a couch a few months ago and like you I do research when I make large purchases the couch is great but less than a week after I got it it went on sale 600 dollars less than what I paid the frugal girl in me is still gutted
Best purchase for me would be the Sony wxm400 headphones and my iPhone 13 pro max worst purchase I a jacket i got from Zara that is so cute and is 1000% my style I absolutely love it but I got it on clearance and it’s too small and I can’t return it so now I just stare at it with sadness…
Ugh sorry this is my second comment and I swear I’m not usually all critical in the comments but in addition to the swooshy sounds, I also don’t like all the “movement” of the editing 🙈 like all the jump cuts, zooms, stock footage, etc. It’s just a bit too much and honestly just not up to your normal standards!! No hate, just feedback because like I said this is just not up to your standards/your brand!
Oh man. I'm sorry. I had an editor edit this video so I can spend more time filming content- trying to figure out how to be able to get content done with having 2 kids. This is good feedback to know though. Sorry it was distracting
Air fryer in the house: the best thing ever!!! And no grease so the food is healthier! It is definitely one of the best purchases! I miss the Ford Explorer, we had it as a rental when we were in the US on vacation 2 years ago, we looooved that car! Unfortunately, here in Germany they are pushing climate agenda, the petrol price has gone waaay up, they want to increase the co2 tax as well and are pushing electric cars with violence. Soon people are not going to be able to afford normal cars here, at least you guys in the US can still enjoy some fine cars 😊 I hope I can come to the US again and drive a Mustang or a Camaro 😊 my worst purchase was a kate spade bag that I bought for myself as a graduation present. I liked it, but it is a bit too small and unpractical for all my essential and now it is sitting in the closet with all tags still on it! I need to sell it...
Nothing has been more true than your statement regarding Amazon clothes. I am always filled with regret once I try them on.
The lottery of buying clothes on Amazon is no joke 😂
I have yet to win!! Haha
Surprisingly I’ve actually found a few good things on Amazon!! Statistically it’s like 2/10 but still hahaha gotta go for the basics and read all the reviews… and pray 😂
One of the few bloggers who GREW. Love your content as always ❤
it's nott just clothes, a ton of stuff is bad on amazon... they also have a huge counterfeit problem...

"Researchicing" made me lol. Too cute!

Very good tips 💯💯💯
I try Amazon clothes and regret it. I agree with you - time to stop trying!

love this video. it’s awesome.
the editing though….lol “wooosh” ☠️ every two seconds
Hahahaha when you said researching but you said it wrong 🤣 🤣🤣🤣🤣
You Will love that Stokke chair when You have a toddler that wants to sit by the table and climb up by himself Thanks great vid 💖💖💖
Totally agree with you on amazon clothing. Influencers are always promoting it and I haven't found a single good thing yet! My best purchase has been a denim shacket from Abercrombie....I am in LOVE with it.
I avoid giving Jeff Bezos any $$.
What LV wallet(s) do you have that fit in the lulu bag? Great video!
many of the clothes I've ordered on Amazon come looking like it's sized for a 9yr old and washes horribly. Done w/ that!
🤑
Love the video. I see a few people mentioned the swoosh , it didn’t bother me at all. I had to go back to the video and rewatch a little to listen to it.

for sure! I know it's not just me, it's gotta be so frustrating having to deal with it every day!
Such an honest and open reviews!!!! Helpful definitely

Yes to air fryer with toddlers at home!
a serious game changer

Love this type of video!
this is a really helpful comment! thank you for letting me know what you like to see!
Getting the ford explorer was probably your best purchase. It's great.
Love your necklace. Where did you get it? My wife would like it.
My best purchase of the year has been dumbbells because it’s saving money on a gym membership. Worst purchase is probably a pair of shoes with the only reason being I haven’t worn them yet lol
Best purchase 2021 is our SUV, the Volvo XC90. Previously we had X5 and Volvo was so much better and more affordable than BMW
Great video! I agree with you on Lululemon belt bags. They’re awesome!
they're SO good! the most functional bag
With Amazon I always look at the review column and hope people have uploaded pictures so I can feel safe ordering or not lol
Anyone else grew up with that trip trap chair?
Researchasing is my new favorite word. Researching and purchasing = researchasing.
Oh yeah, using this word, credit to Carly.
I never saw the point of expensive high chairs since kids don't use them that long. We loved the Fisher Price space saver chair that sat on top of a regular kitchen chair. It's only $50. We just donated it afterwards.
Well the point of this one is you can use them a long time. My daughter had it since the beginning. She’s 3 and she still has years of use left on it.

Is it weird that my kids didn't use them beyond 2.5? We had a regular highchair for my first and then went to the space saver.

The Amazon one 👎🏽 I’ve always had issues ordering from there! Never any good quality or consistency in sizing
yes Ive gotten some and the fabric is seriously gross

I love this video but the swoosh sounds were stressing me out 😩 I’m so sorry bc I love your videos (& you!) but I had to say something!
thank you for telling me! I actually tried an editor out for this video because the time it takes me to edit my videos takes too long / I'd rather focus on filming more [always trying to figure out where I can save time with having kids] so it's helpful to hear
@@CarlyCristman thank you for your kind response! I’m a mom of 3 so I get it!!
Seriously need to get that camera!!
My son also hated stokke tripp trapp until I bought high chair cushion from Konges Sløjd!
I bought the Nectar mattress this year and I find it so comfortable but my boyfriend thinks it is awful and gives him back pain! His problem with it is that it is not firm enough though.
I've ordered one to many yoga sets. The quality was just so bad. aka I washed and they shrunk! Oh well lesson learned!
I bought a couch a few months ago and like you I do research when I make large purchases the couch is great but less than a week after I got it it went on sale 600 dollars less than what I paid the frugal girl in me is still gutted
UGH THE WORST!!!
I always wondered why those high chairs were so popular, they look so uncomfortable! Glad someone has pointed it out finally!
I mean they are always on a best baby product list so it could just be my son who hates it? But he was NOT having it. Good ole graco for the win
Supply chain problems: Let’s go Brandon!
hahahahahah

totally not related to the video but i can't stop looking at your lips! haha what are wearing?!

Omg- same. I loathe writing negative comments but this video was not the usual vibe. Something feels off and not in a good way.
💛💛💛
The swooshing sounds are so distracting and giving me anxiety lol. Otherwise great video. Just horrible editing 😭

I didn’t mind the sounds! 🤷🏼♀️
