I've been told by Trek and other local bike stores that the only difference between the small and large sizes is the struts are longer to accommodate the smaller frame, albeit they can be easily cut down if needed. The S 13-18" and L 18-22" sizing refers to the recommended bike frame size for each.

That is convenient that you had two bolt holes on the side of the seat stays...did they provide clamps if you didn't???

Mine doesn’t seem to fit…. I think I messed up… My bike size was "S" so I got the "S" rack but it doesn’t fit my bike.

Wish you would have shown how you mounted it. I have the exact same set up but the bolts are to big for the bike.
