Inowrocław - a city in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship, is situated on the Noteć River, on the Inowrocławska Plain, in the north-eastern part of the Greater Poland Lake District. According to data from June 30, 2018, the city had 73,318 inhabitants

There is a graduation tower in Inowrocław, and the city itself has the status of a health resort. It has rich deposits of rock salt that have been mined here since ancient times, hence the term "city on salt". However, since the closing and flooding of the Solino mine, salt has not been extracted in the traditional way. The city also spills highly mineralized water, "Inowrocławianka", which is said to be the saltiest drinking water sold in Poland

One of the oldest Polish cities. In ancient times, the amber route ran here. The excavations have shown that in the area of today's Inowrocław there was probably the oldest salt works discovered in Poland.
The first mention of Inowrocław comes from 1185, from the document of prince Leszek, son of Bolesław Kędzierzawy, and describes the town as Novo Wladislaw. The name was chosen probably in honor of Władysław Herman or as Nowy Włocławek, founded by the inhabitants of Włocławek, fleeing the flood and looking for a new place to settle. The city was founded on the basis of a large market and a salt works nearby. Probably at the end of the 12th century it became the seat of the castellany.
In 1237 or 1238, Prince Kazimierz Konradowic brought the Franciscans to Inowrocław, giving them a plot of land on which a monastery was built, which was demolished in the 19th century. At the turn of summer and autumn 1238, the army of the Pomeranian prince, Świętopełk, plundered and burnt the stronghold.
Inowrocław was the seat of the princes of Kuyavia and the starosts of Inowrocław. As the seat of the staroste and the district center, Inowrocław became in the 14th century also the seat of noble courts, first of the land and then of the town court, which functioned in this city until the end of the 18th century.

In the years 1950-1998, the city administratively belonged to the Bydgoszcz Province. The Inowrocław County was restored on January 1, 1999. In 2009, Pope Benedict XVI proclaimed Saint Queen Jadwiga the patron of the city of Inowrocław

Miasto jest brzydkie, zwłaszcza starówka. Ładne są tylko SOLANKI (część uzdrowiskowa), Kaula na osiedlu Rabin i... świąteczna fontanna na Skwerze Obrońców Inowrocławia. To przykre lecz prawdziwe. Z góry każde miasto wygląda ładnie. Nie ulega wątpliwości, że Inowrocław zmienia się na korzyść, ale daleko mu jeszcze do wyglądu "pięknego miasta"
@Krzysztof Kwiatkowski Bądź dobrej myśli. Miasto zmienia się na lepsze. Śpij zatem spokojnie. Pozdrawiam :-)
Muszę kiedyś tam zajechać i trochę pozwiedzać na szlaku piastowskim
Trudno ocenić czy Inowrocław jako całość jest ładny czy nie. Powiedziałbym, że są tu bardzo ładne miejsca. Do takich należą Solanki czy okolice ulicy Solankowej. Ale są też miejsca, które straszą. Pomijając oczywiste blokowiska zaliczę do nich Rynek po "rewitalizacji". Betonowa patelnia w środku miasta za którą miasto na soli słono zapłaciło. Wymarzone miejsce do odwiedzenia w słoneczny letni dzień:/ Jak to się dzieje, że taki projekt przechodzi kilka różnych ocen pozytywnie? Że można coś takiego zrobić mieszkańcom miasta za ich pieniądze i cieszyć się jak bardzo miasto wypiękniało? Betonoza to nie tylko choroba polskich miast, ale przede wszystkim stan umysłu niektórych ludzi. Trzeba się temu sprzeciwiać i mieć nadzieję, że kiedy decydenci (a jest to przypadłość ponadpartyjna) odejdą na zasłużone emerytury to zastąpią ich ludzie o większej wyobraźni i innym poczuciu estetyki. A Inowrocław i tak warto odwiedzić :)

⛲♥️ Inowrocław Nowy garaż z poddaszem 40 tysięcy , Inowrocław to sanatoryjne miasto trzeba przyjechać i się przekonać ,ładne zadbane sanatoria ,parki ,solanki ,bezpłatny wstęp do tężni , o miasto też dba prezydent p Brejza ,a z pracą jak wszędzie ,,,,
Z tą pięknością to bym nie przesadzał. Są dużo ładniejsze miasta, a przede wszystkim CZYSTSZE! Inowrocław niestety jest ponury i brudny. Tak mi sie kojarzy negatywnie to miasto.
Starówka bez ludzi, co tam za zabytki są bo nie zdążyłem zauważyć, najlepsze zdanie na końcu, warto tu żyć, czy autor ma pojęcie co pisze, czy autor wie na przykład że garaże są tu droższe niż w Warszawie, a ceny mieszkań sięgają irracjonalnych kwot? Nie warto tu żyć, tu nic nie ma
Ulice Dworcowa i "Królówka" wymarłe, szare i brudne. A gdzie ci spacerowicze, ławki, drzewa, neony, kawiarnie, które pamiętam z końca lat 70? Miasto uzdrowiskowe z ograniczeniem do Solanek, a handel i rozrywka na obrzeżach miasta. I "zasuszony" rynek. Włodarze strzelają sobie samobóje od lat.
