Here are some answers to common questions I’ve gotten on this short: • “Are you a hacker / using some sort of glitch?” No. I’m not smart enough to know how to do that lol • “What are you playing on?” I play on Nintendo Switch. • “howwww???” I just jumped around and got lucky. There is no trick to this other than zig zag jumping and knowing where the statues are. • “What is the shield / where do you get it?” You have to complete the constellation of a specific realm (the one shown is Prairie) - meaning unlock all the items, capes, and emotes from every spirit in the realm’s constellation (Tier 2 capes not necessary for completion). Then go through Eden and open the constellation pad. If you have 100% completion of the realm, you’ll see a flag icon that you can press and talk to the Elder. You can get the shield from the Elder in exchange for ascended candles (AC). Currently not all realm Elders offer shields, just the first three. • “What does the shield do?” It protects you from dying once, then it breaks and won’t work again until the Elder restores it. In other words, if you get hit by a krill or shard that would usually make you grey and lose wings, you’ll be protected just one time. *note: the shield does not enable you to dodge shards like I’m doing in the video. I just repeat: “HOW AM I ALIVE? HOW AM I ALIVE HOW AM I ALIVE???” or the alternative: “WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT WHAT” or, if I immediately get hit: “FRICK FRICK FRICK FRICK NO NO NO NO GO GO GO GO GO GO GO”
Pro tip: angle the camera up and zoom all the way out so it looks like a 2D space. You can see all of the statues better that way and can determine your distance
This has happened to me, but never for this long. I bet there's an actual strategy to dodging rocks if somebody was willing to study this game to a speedrunner's TAS degree.
If you want actual advice, you can close your game once you get to the last section, reopen it and enter eden and when you spawn in, you'll get some invincibility time. You can do that a couple of times to get most of the statues so you can make a run straight to the back on your last run. Zoom all the way out, and look up and to the right and you can dodge the rock that fall in wave patterns and give yourself a little more time. that gets me to the point in the video consistently without luck.
RNG because I can offer a second opinion and yes, it is possible to do this even without protection, you just need to have madlad movement and quite a blessing from RNGesus. That´s how I managed to give winged light to 3 statues closest to the Crystal of Eden without even crawling.

@@adwa2770 the elder mask gives u a one time use protection from anything that has the ability to kill you (flying rocks, krill, ect.) Yes, all elder masks do that, and they're permanent cosmetics! The way u refill the 'power' if the mask breaks is by going to the required temple. Isle mask = isle temple, forest mask = forest temple, ect. Hope this helps a bit :D
Yeay! This is why i run eden every reset just to get that elder mask 😁😁😁 5 months moff here 😂 i did the jump and dodge trick as well after i got it. Super nicee and was even confused at first buuut was soo proud got to the end with more than 60 wing light left and lit up all statue children. 😊😊😊

I discovered the same jumping technique when I played around a year or so It's so funny and scary at the same time!! :D It's more useful cse even if you hiding behind rocks - some shards will get you and you'll loose some wings for nothing

It was indeed, crunch time.
