Common Symptoms:
Excessive vibration inside cabin.
Too much engine noise.

Yes the mounts come with 3 parts but needs a proper inspection before changing.

I would not suggest jacking up oil sump because my experience showed it caved in . Axel ideal ... Good video over all thanks.
Yup i have seen many cases, but its recommended to support covering complete area of pan not just giving a point load. If using a wider support, load spreads to the wall of the pan not the bottom face.
Great video. I did the same job 2 months back, but replaced complete mount assembly and other 2 Mounts(Torque restrictor and Gearbox Upper mount) as well. Used wood instead of brick.
Torque Spec:
3x Engine Mount to Body Bolt - 48 Nm
3x Engine Mount to Engine Mount Bracket Nuts - 70 Nm (Fully torqued to spec after engine support is removed)
I used copper grease below mount bracket to easily align new engine mount bracket holes.
Engine clearance from ground increased by around 1.5-2 cm after replacing all 3 mounts. All vibrations and engine movement gone!
How much cost was saved for replacing just the mount? Engine Mount assembly was around ~5000.
Actually its wooden block which I used. Haha its actualy advised to hand torque hust 1 to 2 degree and confirm the tightness of fastners or the torq wrench should be constantly calibrated or tested with specs. And the cost for mount was below 3k.
@@dailyhandsdiy I wasted 2k then for just the bracket and the bolt.
My torque wrench is fairly new and factory calibrated, so I relied on it.
You make really good DIY videos. Any chance you've replaced or have any idea for replacing rear axle bushing on figo without a bushing press kit? I was thinking, maybe a M12 threaded rod or big c-clamp and some big sockets can do the job.
I dont think the c clamp can press that a pressure. Or you may initially break the seating using a hammer then try pressing with the clamp with some penitrant.
Hi, from where you got the mount. Online or shop. I checked with some shop in chennai. He has some other brand engine mount for 2000 rs. From ford the cost is 5000 rs

Bro what could be the reason for ford fiesta classic 1.4 diesel vibrate in lower rpm (in between 1200 - 1500 rpm only)
If engine shaking its an engine issue or if its vibration ie on dash n steering it can a broken mount issue.
Its really usual to shake while starting and stoping. Engine does shake but if you get the shake inside cabin, its the mount going bad.
Which company brand is good in engine mounting part for ford figo 2012 ?

If its the acceletor, just replacing would be better, bcs most of the time they don't get repaired. And if its other issues like zero throttle, have to check the parts.
@@dailyhandsdiy No. I mean adding an extra fourth pedal called the dead pedal, just to rest the left foot, so we do not rest left foot on clutch pedal.

But the suspension price given by the tata service was Rs.7,000 + gst for single piece (front side).
Suspension alone with mounts, spring strust should cost below 4k. compare with the nline prices.

Every model vx or lower models, they all have same designs.

My ford aspire's engine getting huge shake while shutting down..but i don't get any vibrations inside cabin or at my steering wheel..does it means mounting went off
Have to visually check if they're any breakages. Engine shakes badly while starting up or shutting down.

There can be manufacturing defects, thats why manufacturers provide 1 lk kms plus 5 years warranty on products. Also mounts are normally replaced btween 5 to 7 years depending their hardeness. Some can go beyond 10 years with no issues. Its all luck.
