I love this pen logging system. And if that ink notebook is still useable, you can use what you already have. Mark the pages that were sold/given away but use the pages that are still applicable, if you didn’t want to “waste” it. Or just use it as scratch paper now 😂 thanks for the video!!

It’s been such a crappy year (parents’ health crises and associated last-minute travel) that I am more in “hibernate” than “engage” mode with most aspects of life. For my Eleanor inspired copy cat, I am using a B6, song lyrics, and a swipe of ink down the side edge. And I'm so happy with it. SO HAPPY. I'm going to do my pen/ink usage on the backs of the pages.
Yep. So either you said that before that's why I thought pen and ink samples on the back. I think I'd want an A5. However, maybe, I should just start the darn Pens from my Pen Case journal already.
@@seemownay I mentioned it before on the back, which was copying Val's pen log. Nothing I am doing is original to me. I am stealing the format for Eleanor, the logging from Val, and the side swipe from you and your ink cards.
@@soapturtle @seemownay copy away! :) I'm a big fan of keeping a log of all pens that have had the ink in them to compare them. It is really illuminating! I wish more people did that kind of thing. For the writing sample I just jot down why I bought it, and any other thoughts i have about the color/properties.
Ok that wet writing technique is so interesting!! It would be be fun to do with a really boring ink to add interest, but I’m not sure that I would do it often..

The diamine evergreen swatch is so nice. Now I need to try that ink! Haha
My Pro Gear Slim mini has threads to post. Otherwise it’s the same color as yours. Love it so much

That wet in wet ink technique is very interesting, but I also struggle to imagine myself doing it (much)

I've never seen that ink blending before with fountain pens. It looks amazing, but I would never take the time to do that.
That's exactly my conclusion too. Nice but not for me.
