Her eccentricities and puerile behaviour make me think that even in this movie where she is the head of a fashion empire, she was born to a life a privilege and luxury. She did not have to work her way up, nobody told her "no", she never did menial work.

Re-watching this scene as an adult feels so much more terrifying and insanely evil because even though that's clearly a fake tiger, the idea that she put her hand into a dead tiger's head to play puppeteer is so creepy! Glenn Close's acting might have been borderline cartoonish at times but that's how EVIL her character is. She literally loves fur more then anything and wishes to drape herself in it. Glenn CLose to this day for me will always be the best Cruella even over the Cartoon and the new Cruella.

Besides. Disney has been under heavy watch for animal welfare for many years now beginning in the 90s. So a tiger fur ESPECIALLY would definitely not be used in their films due to backlash.
I mean, her name is literally CRUEL-la DE-VIL and she wants to skin puppies to make a coat. No need for nuance here.
I just sorta realised the obvious fact that her collection was focusing on stripes because she was aiming to poach and skin the Siberian Tiger. Now that she has that, the collection’s free to move onto spots.
She was motivated by anita to do spots becuase of her drawing. She almost got talked out of it when anita and her were talking about her dog. She mentioned if the fur was coarse or fine, and anita said "coarse, but was very fine when she was a puppy" AND THUS THE SPOT THIRSY CRUELLA BEGAN HER HUNT!! Anita should have just said coarse and the end!!

Hugh Laurie was a great choice to play Jasper in my opinion. At 1:00 when Cruella said “Get on with it, you imbecile!” You can see how scared Jasper looked. Hugh Laurie totally delivered his role just as great as Glenn Close did 👍🏻👍🏻

I think she was wrapped in furs because she was a fiery and passionate nature! I first saw the film in 1998 when I was 5 years old... You won't believe it, but I really liked the episode where she comes to the de vil house. It was the image of a panther.... It was fascinating, because we don't see her face, but only her red mouthpiece (when I was little, I didn't understand that it was a" red stick " mouthpiece and took a red pencil and went home with it:- )) At first we don't see her face only her feet in black classic shoes with thin high heels and striped black tights, a long black fur train with white stripes... her confident walk. And the way she walked on the white catwalk.... wearing a hat with a veil, it created a mystery around her, and her power of expression said that she was a very strong woman... ( this is probably why I fell in love with the classic style of French minimalism, in 1990 it was fashionable and now I love it very much) I remember the look of her green eyes during her conversation with Anita... Yes, she did terrible things, but in the end I felt very sorry for her... When it fell into the molasses and into the pigsty... Glenn managed to capture her haggard expression... As an adult, I read her interview and how she approaches all her roles, trying to show the reasons for the behavior of her characters. She also managed to show it in Cruella, I think it made her image so mysterious and memorable, so the story continued... Even as a child, I felt that everything there is not simple and unambiguous... You know, I thought at the time that it really happened and I even wrote her a letter to the prison, I wanted to support her, I hoped that she would improve... I want to say a huge thank you to Glenn Close I wonder if we will see her cameo in the film?

That depends. White Siberian Tigers result from Bengal Tigers mating with Siberian Tigers. If the resulting Tiger shares the size and fur softness of an average Siberian, then that's as close to a White Siberian Tiger as you can possibly get.

Funny she doesn't just fire Anita for getting married like she does when she wouldn't sell her the puppies. I also wonder if she was mad because Anita got married or because she didn't invite her to her wedding.
I think that maybe she was mad at her because she felt betrayed and disappointed. I know it´s hard to understand how Cruella thinks, but I believe maybe she saw some potential in Anita to become her disciple or something like that, and after watching her getting married, she felt as Anita was giving her back to her and wasting all her potential to become a "silly housewife". Anita was probably one of the very few persons Cruella truly appreciated, because she saw her as a really great designer, and someone who really understood the way Cruella saw fashion. Or at least that´s what she thought.

Horace and Jasper and skinner were her lieutenants and she was the mastermind. Horace and Jasper’s job was to kidnap the puppies and Skinner’s job was to do the honors. He was supposed to come to the manor to kill and skin the puppies but all the puppies had escaped except for Lucky. I don’t know what use Skinner would have for one puppy as opposed to 99
