THE BIRDMAN OF ALCATRAZ - ROBERT STROUD - METROPOLIS, ILLINOIS

In a cemetery just outside of the Town of Metropolis, Illinois is the grave of one of the most famous and notorious criminals of all time. Resting in a grave next to his mother is Robert Stroud, who is better know as the Bird Man of Alcatraz. In this episode I am visiting the grave of the Birdman who became know as the birdman while confined to Leavenworth Federal Prison in Kansas. He never was permitted to keep birds while he was at Alcatraz.
