Brother I just got this truck in the mail. This is going to be another Frankenstein build with Hosim/GoolRc/ DumboRc. I can't say much because of the NDA but they're wanting to release a truck (basically this truck with some upgrades) that will do 65+ out of the box and supply a speed pinion also! GoolRc sent me a sweet 2-6s 150A Esc/motor combo for it but it will be a little bit before I get to it. Almost hit 80 with the Thunder I've been building, blew a tire, I believe it will hit mid 80's with a pinion swap now and the 100 mph mark is just a switch from 4s-6s away!! 😎

I can definitely see a lot of people getting this for Christmas this year. As far as speed that’s not a bad speed the brushless x08 is only 27 on 2s and 40 on 3s.

Pretty sure this is just a brushed version of the brushless X07 & X08 which use a 2847 motor. That’s why Hosim went with the tiny 390 size, because they could use the same motor mount.
Yeah I stated that in my last video that this is basically a brushed version 👍☝️😊
Not crazy fast but still fun on the cardboard jumps I made for it.

It definitely takes time to build a channel! Just be safe, I started my first channel in 2015, got hacked in 2023 and lost over 300k subs, took a break from YT and just recently started back up. This guy here has a great channel, glad I found him, I was building a LAEGENDARY thunder truck when I found his channel. How upgradeable is this truck? Is it possible to drop a a brushless motor and all new electronics in it to make it a performer? With new shocks of course. Or is it not a a good enough platform to make it worthwhile?
This is basically a Brushed version of the Hosim x07 and x08 those cars are both brushless.. and parts are interchangeable with this since there basically the same cars
