I hope I’m not alone when I say I teared up listening to the story of Ray . Hearing how he struggled so much but still pushing foreword with what he wanted to do and how Geoff had so much faith in him and helped him so much to get where he wanted to be just fucks me up . Especially seeing how successful he is now and constantly donates and even donated $10,000 to an achievement hunter charity event . Ray was always my favorite achievement hunter and I even named my dog after him !

After not watching RT for almost 6 years, I came back to re-watch some of their stuff (Let Play, Achievement guides ect.). You stumbled into my recommended and I'm glad you did. I'm just reminiscing about all of those guys (and gals) and also learning so much more about them. If you haven't already, could you do a where are they now or even like full on stories? It'd would be a great opportunity to try and interview them too. Great content and hope it goes far. Subbed. :)

That was alaways my dream job to work for gamestop but its to late now because i cant support myself as a adult because of the pay. But i wish as a teenager i should have applied
Normally a family supporting a person that way is not a good idea. Thousands of people (or more) won't get the success story. Most end up bumming around being a hindrance on friends and family. Sad, but true. Follow your dreams can work, but you have to work really hard at it or be extremely lucky, or both.
I like the video overall, but I think it's really redundant to say something in the video, and then including clips of people saying what you said word for word. Just feels like the time is a little wasted.
I can appreciate the research and sifting through videos for the clips you need and whatnot, I imagine it wasn't exactly a quick process lol

He was tired of playing Minecraft and GTA all the time, and RT’s parent company at the time had a moratorium on employees “double-dipping,” via streaming on their own time. (I’m not sure exactly why, but the common thread I’ve heard is that all content they were making needed to be for RT, which is why a lot of them only started streaming after RT was bought by another company.)
It got to the point where Ray was just phoning it in during a lot of videos, and then he decided to quit and do his own thing. There’s no bad blood between him and RT, and he’s remained friends with a lot of them over the years despite not working or guest starring on streams.

To become a full-time twitch streamer! He's doing really well for himself now I'm so proud of him.
He got tired of playing GTA and Minecraft all the time, and fell in love with streaming/being able to play games he wanted to play to make money.
Unfortunately: when he was an employee, the company that owned RT at the time didn’t want their talent to stream, so Ray needed to leave if he wanted to continue doing it.
GOD I MISS RAY. COME BACK RAY. (and no i dont wanna watch his 3 hr streams i want him to interact with people in decent length videos)

I stopped watching a.h. after Ray left, he was irreplaceable.
