October 1, 2006 - Mets vs Nationals

On a sunny Sunday afternoon, the Mets (96-65) close out their 2006 regular season against the Nationals (71-90) at RFK Stadium. Oliver Perez takes the mound for the Mets in a final tune-up before the playoffs. Perez throws 4 innings of 1-hit ball followed up by appearances from Roberto Hernandez, Pedro Feliciano, Chad Bradford, Guillermo Mota and Aaron Heilman.
The Nationals have a pre-game tribute to outgoing Manager and Hall of Fame player, Frank Robinson.
