Hey everyone, so after experimenting with the brake switch for a while I have found out that the first position on the clutch switch also gets disabled which doesn't let you disable cruise control unless you pull it in all the way. I found a way better solution: this guy makes custom switches which mimics the OEM switch which fixes all the issues cregtech.co.uk/shop/ols/products/brembo-master-cylinder-brake-module the install is really easy and everything is neatly made
@TURBO TWINKIE you don't have to do any wire splicing with that thing huh? Pretty impressive, I ordered it for my FZ :) just got the 19RCS and some new speiglers just like you
Guys you can fit a hydroactivated switch (I use Braking Switch) and wire the cables to a 4 point normally close relay. I did this and works perfectly. My bike is 2023 model, that is way better in many areas including brakes than the old model. Six axis gyro ECU is the magical word. There are many stupid comments on CZcams, for MT-10 brakes curried over from the old one who had an issue when ridden hard only. With the new model you simply change the break levers with better aftermarket one, for adaptability and all are perfect.
The MT10's front brakes aren't bad, but the slow, smooth touch of the Brembo is the best. As a fellow MT10 rider, I envy you! It's natural that the new model is equipped with a Brembo master cylinder.
I kniw brakes can be a PITA and $$$.....but good brakes are absolutley a must....once youvw had great brakes its really hard to back to avg ones I just purchase bikes with good brakes already on them to avoid hassles.... A shame that some bikes dont have excellent braking system, if they have a version that comes with better susp and brakes thats the model i buy.... My duke 890 is an example....the R came with Stylemas and RCS from brembo......
@@TURBOTWINKIE Good to know. I had a Z1000SX back in the days and I was scared to change the break lines due to my fear to do it becouse of ABS unit. The breaks on this model was really weak and this could help a lot.
Do the easiest thing first: swap in EBC HH pads. If that doesn't do it, consider steel braided lines. If that doesn't do it, swap the MS to a radial-pump. You don't need to go "Brembo" to get very good performance either.
i just did Spiegler braided brake lines and brembo carbon ceramic race pads on the stock master and calipers . Did a couple track days and about 200 miles so far. there is a night and day difference.
I am seriously considering just losing ABS which I believe is the main issue with these MT-10 brakes....so hard to give up the technology though I mean it COULD come in real handy some day ya know? But maybe never. On the other hand resale of bike I think it would freak a buyer out to hear "btw I eliminated ABS"....Another thing is I have the money why not just sell this MT and buy something with awesome brakes right off the jump? But every model has something else I dont like.....and damn I love this MT-10 other than the brakes....well the suspension is not steller either but that is just throw money at it
You're not getting the full potential of the master cylinder and steel braided lines because you are still connecting it to ABS. Connect the brake lines directly to the calipers to get the full preformance
From what I heard it will be very difficult to fit the two together because the mounting hole is on the bottom of the master compared to the oem master
i know its been 8 months but i hope you still have your old brembo brake master .. i always love to have one if you can be so kind i havent received any gifts in my birthday . please let me have it ♥️
why bother with the rear? Oh wait you just swapped lines and resvoirz/ not the calipers? I seriously doubt it was worth the effort....well if the rubber lines were stretched new lines would be improved but still with nissin calipers? meh

Does this module include the switch as well? Or will I need to buy that separately
Where did you end up grounding this at?
@@michaelcarter2767 just bolt it down anywhere that touches the frame or other metal conductive object.

I laugh so loud at the radiator part, man this videos are so good, well explained, awesome video quality, so glad I found it 🔥

Damn, no amount of performance increase will convince me to do that work.

Gives this man a like a sub, for spilling blood.
Humm..... that master cylinder hose sticking down from the pump seems a tad lacking in R&D on the part of Spiegler.
Press the rear brake I think that should fix the cruise control issue
Why did you had to replace the abs hard tubes? Those should be uneccessary...
Great video, I was suprised that you can bleed out the ABS unit so easy. I thought that this is not possible at all.
Yup, no special equipment required :)

first track day i realized how bad the stock brakes are. felt like a sponge after a couple laps
Rcs19 master race 😎
You crazy. I’ll leave it stock 😂😂😂😂😂
Turrrrboooooo twiiiiinnnnkeeeeeeeeeyyyyy 🏍️🔥

Does "Never Again" MEAN if you had it to do over agai? you would not? Or just never again cause its done? lol
Did the abs unit require anything different?I was told a dealer had to plug it in to a computer to refill the system?
Can you tell me the site or code name where I can buy a 3pin switch? You can't find it in Korea

Does this fuqq up the cruise controll?
How much time did you spent in make all changes??
Nice video man...very informative.
Can you share what brake switch you used? Did stock brake switch fit into the brembo?
wooow veeery good video!
Thanks for visiting
wow man really tough job, is there any chance to fit the rcs19 with the stock lines?
From what I heard it will be very difficult to fit the two together because the mounting hole is on the bottom of the master compared to the oem master
this was a year ago, are you sure u were meant to use DOT 5.1 and not DOT 4.0?
They are both glycol based and interchangeable. 5.1 is a general performance improvement vs 4.0
Ciao, è possibile averlo in lingua italiana?
the heat fon is necessary to loose brake lines.. because Yamaha puts Locktide everywhere!!!
How much torque to tight the bolt
Which one? Lol
czcams.com/video/wWhTelnLoFY/video.html aren't these lines already hard lines ?
Should have stopped at pads only IMHO.
Nice one dude. 🤙
Do you do track days? Love to see your driving skills ✌
pEace
All tracks are closed right now, so not sure if Ill be able to attend one this year :(
i know its been 8 months but i hope you still have your old brembo brake master .. i always love to have one if you can be so kind i havent received any gifts in my birthday . please let me have it ♥️
OLD bike judging by throttle cables. I have 2023 MT10 but brakes pretty iffy just not sure I can justify spending on THIS model

😂😂😂
I do it in Tokio for 1.5 hours
