Latest Update: A few units of the Mahindra XUV 3XO's MX3 variant have reached dealerships.
Price: Mahindra has priced the XUV 3XO from Rs 7.49 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh (introductory ex-showroom). We have also compared the prices of the XUV 3XO with those of its rivals.
Variants: It is available in three broad variants, MX, AX5, and AX7. The MX trim further has three sub-variants: MX1, MX2 and MX3. Here’s what each variant of the XUV 3XO has to offer.
Colour Options: You can get the 3XO in eight colour options: Citrine Yellow, Deep Forest, Dune Beige, Everest White, Galaxy Grey, Nebula Blue, Stealth Black, and Tango Red. While all colours get an optional Stealth Black roof, the Deep Forest, Nebula Blue, and Stealth Black paint shades come with an optional Galvano Grey roof.
Seating Capacity: It is available in a 5-seater layout.
Engine and Transmission: The Mahindra XUV 3XO has retained the same petrol and diesel options as the outgoing XUV300: a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol unit (110 PS/200 Nm), 1.5-litre diesel engine (117 PS/300 Nm) and a 1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol engine (130 PS/ 230 Nm). All engines are mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. While both the turbo-petrol engines get an optional 6-speed AT, the diesel unit is offered with a 6-speed AMT.
Claimed Fuel Efficiency: The claimed powertrain-wise mileage figures of the XUV 3XO are as follows:
1.2-litre turbo-petrol MT: 18.89 kmpl
1.2-litre turbo-petrol AT: 17.96 kmpl
1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol MT: 20.1 kmpl
1.2-litre TGDi turbo-petrol AT: 18.2 kmpl
1.5-litre diesel MT: 20.6 kmpl
1.5-litre diesel AMT: 21.2 kmpl
Features: Mahindra has equipped the XUV 3XO with dual 10.25-inch displays (one for infotainment and the other for instrumentation), cruise control, and dual-zone AC. It also gets a wireless phone charger, connected car tech, and a segment-first panoramic sunroof.
Safety: Its safety package includes six airbags (as standard), electronic stability control (ESC), a rearview camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and some advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) features such as adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keep assist.
Rivals: The Mahindra XUV 3XO rivals the Nissan Magnite, Hyundai Venue, Renault Kiger, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Maruti Suzuki Brezza, upcoming Skoda sub-4m SUV, and the two sub-4m crossovers: Maruti Fronx and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor.
